Description from the owner
A house with unique charm whose wooded and warm interior will energise you after your long days of discoveries. The kitchen counter will remind you of the small Japanese restaurants unless you prefer to eat your meals in the Japanese living room.
On the first floor there are two rooms: one Japanese, the other western, the choice of the appropriate comfort with each style is up to you. Finally, a beautiful sun-bathed office awaits you.
The house is located in part of the humble temple Tohoku-in which can be seen from the windows. A heaven of peace.

North of Okazaki park in Kyoto, rises Yoshida hill which houses the pagodas of two temples known by the names of Kurodani and Shinnyodo, as well as the picturesque Yoshida shrine. For those who are tired of the crowds in the temples, the quiet lanes, the aroma of incense that floats in the air will let you to catch a glimpse of a different Kyoto.
Bus service to easily connect to the city's other tourist areas, take the 12 bus to reach the Golden Pavilion.
