In a totally private, peaceful setting with stunning views of mountains, green valleys and the sea, the villa is an oasis of real luxury, a real holiday home, not just a sparse rental property. We are very popular for wedding parties and family groups. Great holiday and lovely villa, although showers were not good and the first bed we slept in was like a rock!
The pool was not clear and even the pool man could not rectify it!
Marion was great and would help you with anything.
It was still a lovely holiday! -

Vollen, NorwayHoliday Villa with a wonderful view to the sea and mountains
Left on 10/13/2010 for a stay in October 2010
Yes, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed very much to stay in your villa.
We used the swimming pool every day and had breakfast on the veranda with the nice view to the mountains and the sea every morning.
We also appreciated that the sun was shining on the pool almost the entire day.
The teenagers also liked using the 3G-modem on the Mac they had brought with them and occasionally we watched on one of the numerous television channels. We have no problem recommending the Villa to anybody! -

We have just returned from Villa Rockheart having had a wonderful relaxing holiday. The villa was everything we had hoped for and more. A private and peaceful setting with great views but only a short drive to shops and restaurants. Villa Rockheart is well equipped, comfortable and has a welcoming feel. The pool is great and the gentle breeze on the terraces help keep you cool at this time of the year. Alison, the owner, and her management staff in Cyprus could not have been more helpful making our holiday from our first enquiry to returning home yesterday one of the easiest stress free holiays we have had for a long time - and we had our 14 year old with us!
Our thanks to you all. -

ColefordLovely villa with fantastic views
Left on 08/17/2010 for a stay in July 2010
On our arrival we were early, however this wasn't a problem at all. It was straight in, changed and in the pool, which is lovely. It was in the 100's some days and the pool was an absolute relief to get into and then chill by the pool. The villa was lovely with everything you could want and need, certainly home from home. The location of the villa was well situated, however a car is a must and some of the roads aren't that good. There is so much to see in the surrounding areas but the best I think was going to Solaris and then on up to Golden Sands. Would certainly return and reccomend to anyone, service was first class with plenty of communication and information.

We've just got back from our 2 week holiday and have not been disappointed.
Our group consisted of 2 adults and 2 children aged 2½ and 4. The villa was very spacious and as it can accommodate 6 we had lots of room.
The outside space is great, the veranda got lots of use for eating on and watching the sunsets. The pool was lovely and warm and a great size. The views behind the pool of the mountains are glorious.
Access to the villa is on a decent road and although situated in the hills, excellent beaches are only 5/10 mins away by car and there is a well stocked supermarket at the bottom of the hill, which stocks a good supply of essentials (pampers nappies, sweets, ice-cream oh and sausages!).
I would highly recommend this villa as it is a great place for a holiday, I can't wait to go back again! -

Nicest Villa and location ever been to...very clean, lovely pool, all mod cons you could need, gorgeous settings, massive rooms all really nicely decorated and furnished.Seven people stayed but always plenty of room to have time to yourself! Pool was good size and always clean. Views were amazing and lovely peaceful setting but still only 5-10 mins away (by car) from shops, restaurants and beach. Perfect place to stay and would definatley come back again!

This is a lovely, spacious villa in a beautiful spot. There is plenty of room and our
party, which ranged in age from three to 63, all had a wonderful holiday. If you are
looking for a tranquil spot for relaxing this hits the spot. Car hire is recommended. -

The service from the owner Alison was first class, right from the onset of the booking. Plenty of information about the villa and regular updates on what was happening in the surrounding area.
Villa Rockheart is a truly outstanding piece of property spacious well built, very tastfully decorated and furnished. We loved the terraced area outside the living room wih fresh grapes growing on the vine, great for having a nice drink and looking at the stars.
Villa Rockheart is in a very quiet and secluded spot, there is one other property next to it but it below the the villa so you have a great deal of privacy. All the amenties were excellent but the favourite bit about the property is the pool it really made the holiday as far as we were concerned.
If you decide to have a holiday in this lovely villa you really need to have a car as it is a wee bit off the beaten track. The local rental firm "Sevener" were very good the picked us up from Larnaca Airport and handed over our rental car at their local office which is very close to the villa. They then took us back to Larnaca.
To sum up we had a great time at Villa Rockheart a great place to relax and unwind far from the madding crowd!
Thank you Alison

What a lovely time we had at Villa Rockheart we were a party of four adults myself, my husband and my parents. The location was amazing with far reaching views across the valley to the sea and from the kitchen window you look up the mountains. Amazing how a view like that improves the mundane task of washing up. There was all you could need in the villa which makes such a pleasant change. Meals on the veranda were great with a pleasant breeze. It was quite hot whilst we were there and my parents enjoyed sitting on the veranda with the breeze coming up the valley. The shops for groceries were very close by (by car) with most things you want from home if you want to stick to the familiar. We did try to by as much local produce as possible and it was cheaper. We found the local people very friendly and willing to help. The variety of restaurants was amazing with varying prices depending on what you want. Plenty of sightseeing if you want it. We visited the three castles in the area and they were great value for money especially Buffavento Castle that was free. The best way to describe this castle was exhilarating. This is the first time we have visited North Cyprus but we certainly go back.

We had a wonderful time at Villa Rockheart, the setting is a beautiful place with unspoilt views right to the coast line. The villa is lovely and tidy, in a peacful setting in the mountains. You do need a car to get around but that is a minor issue. We highly recommed this villa and we will be returning next year. The owners are very friendly and helpful although we have not had the chance to meet them, Marion is also very helpful and helped us with our needs.
The only problem we had was coming away wanting to buy our own villa!!! -

A taxi was arranged to pick us & our friends up from the airport & take us to the villa: this was very efficient & cheap to boot!
When we arrived, Cyprus was in the middle of a heatwave so it was fantastic that Villa Rockheart was that bit elevated as the breeze was wonderful & the views fabulous! The villa was surprisingly well equipped & we were short of nothing that we needed. Local shops/supermarkets stocked a huge range of goods with no silly UK prices, although we ate out most nights. We were stunned at the very high quality of restaurants in the area & our favourite was "The Address" which was only a few minutes drive away. Maybe we were expecting dull monotonous restaurants (such as you find in Greece & mainland Turkey) but the restaurants here were better than most back home in York (& York has some very good ones)!!
Regards driving, we had a prearranged hire car waiting for us at the villa & found it in good condition & it was very cheap to rent. Driving is on the same side as the UK & the roads are not busy at all other than in "rush hour" and even then far quiter than back home. We didn't go out that much during the day (other than for shopping & a little sightseeing)as the heat was oppressive & the surprisingly large pool at Villa R. was simply too inviting to leave! For a change one day we went to a pool & garden place just down the hill from the villa (forgotten its name, but you can't miss it!) & this was a veritable oasis with a great pool area amongst trees with the drinks & food being good & sensibly priced (as was everywhere we went!). Another day we did a boat trip - also good fun. To be fair, there were many other things we could have done, but we were all happy just to relax & chill! Nightclubs (we have older teenagers!) are just 5 minutes away with safe taxis.
Would I recommend Villa Rockheart? Do you need to ask? Absolutely yes!!! If you're looking for a high quality home-from-home villa then this is for you to enjoy with friends & family
