Don't hesitate a single second if you're thinking of renting a place in the French alps: this is it. The owner himself welcomed us and showed us around, using a funky ski-do to bring up our luggage to the chalet!
Chalet Capieu is a vast and bright apartment, newly refurbished, with very nice furniture, comfy beddings and a fully equipped kitchen. We found it big enough to accomodate all of us (a party of 10) without feeling crammed in. The setting is ideal for winter holidays (right on the piste, so you end up being the first and the last one there!) and summer time too thanks to the incredibly preserved natural surroundings. Don't worry, this is not a far from everything place as it's minutes away from shops and restaurants, and 15 min away from the resort of La Clusaz.
Plenty to do all around, although the jacuzzi on the terrace overlooking the mountain tends to keep you from leaving the chalet at the end of the day!!!
