For the second straight year, our large group rented properties at Punta Esmeralda over hte Christmas holidays. Punta is perfect for our family in terms of location, the tennis courts, and workout gym. However, for the second straight year, we were disappointed with the conditon of the properties. In one, the dishwasher didn't work the entire time of our stay. In the other unit, the plunge pool jets never worked and so the water was stagnant. The dishwasher problem was identified a week before our arrival, yet was never fixed. The plunge pool problem was identified the day or our arrival and never fixed.
The properties at Punta are, geneally, in good condition. However, there are ongoing anonyances that distract from one's holiday. The last thing one should have to worry about while on holiday is a broken diswasher or a non-functional pool
