My wife and I stayed in alamar 601-B for 77 days, and did not want to leave. This is the first time we have stayed in a condo outside a major Mexican centre, but we would definitely recommend La Cruz, and alamar to all our friends. In spite the fact that we arrived later on a Saturday evening, the condo was ready for us and keys waiting in a lock box on the door. Alamar staff made sure everything was up and running for us within 5 mins. of arriving. Best of all, a friendly neighbour shared a couple of cold drinks with us to help welcome us to the alamar. Any problem, which were very few, were dealt with quickly and professionally by destino staff. Gretchen and Veronica(Destino) deserve mucho Kudos for being available whenever needed.
The Studio condo was very spacious, and all we needed, even when we were entertaining. The condo was like new, with great furnishings and appliances, not to mention all the housewares you could possibly need. The hallways, elevators, and even the underground parking was always spotlessly clean. The grounds and facilities at the alamar are 5 star, and you have the choice of jungle club or beach club. We became royally spoiled. On site 24 hr. security always made us feel safe. Even staying as long as we did, we never felt the need of a car, as bus, cab and collectivo service was available right in front of the resort, with little or no waiting. Without a doubt, My wife and I will be returning to alamar, most likely for a longer stay. -

If you want to stay in the area of La Cruz, the alamar and this studio are an excellent choice. Upon entry, you will be dazzled by the view from the apartment across the Bay of Banderas.
The apartment itself is stylishly decorated, spotlessly clean and very well equipped by the owners. We found the king-sized bed super comfy and even though it is a studio, it is spacious, feeling more like a one-bedroom apartment.
Across the road is the beach-club where we spent a few evenings and day times lounging by the lovely pool - it is a very nice place to hang out and the food was always good.
Minor criticisms (which did not spoil our two stays in studio 601B) were that the oven would not light on either of our visits and there is a little road noise from the main road passing by if you have terrace doors open, although the view more than made up for that.
We had a car, but if you only need to get to the beach and back to your studio, you can without.
