We just returned from 8 days at Casa Parota in La Cruz (just North of Puerto Vallarta). It was wonderful. There were 7 of us ages 1-60. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. The pool was fabulous! It was a very secure community with a guard at the gate. We never felt unsafe even in La Cruz which is a small town with a big marina and an outstanding fish market. As is our custom we asked locals about places to go and places to eat and every place mentioned was already covered in the owner's information book. We spent a day at the beach in Punta Mita, took a food tour of old town Puerto Vallarta with a company called Vallarta Eats, took a Catamaran tour with snorkeling, whales and dolphins, and spent a couple of relaxing days by our pool. The owners were quick to respond as we set up the vacation, as we prepared and even while we were there. There was a manager available in the complex. This was a great place!
