Description

Welcome to La Rassada eco Bed and Breakfast where we offer comfortable, hosted accommodation in a contemporary home, stylishly converted from an old barn.

On the edge of a typical Mediterranean winemaking village called Feuilla (near Fitou), this tranquil spot between the mountains and the sea, is half way between Narbonne and Perpignan. Connected to a vast network of hiking trails and in a great new birding area, La Rassada makes a great base for exploring this unspoilt area.

The guest suite is made up of two comfortable guest rooms (1 double with a king bed and 1 twin with two single beds) and a private guest bathroom (for your use only). Because we only take one group of guests at a time, you will enjoy the exclusive use of all the guest areas during your stay (including the lounge / dining area and the large wooden deck with a shade sail).

We specialise in hosting families and small groups of 4 people for nature holidays of 5-7 nights, but you are welcome to enquire for other types of stay too! Enjoy some of the best bird watching in France, walking and hiking, cycling, mountain biking, wind & kite-surfing and many other outdoor activities and make the most of our extensive local knowledge.

You can also visit the Cathar castles, local abbeys and fortresses, the Salvador Dali museum in Figueres, coastal fishing ports, modern art museums, or if you just want to chill, there are fabulous, clean and uncrowded beaches nearby, or just chill on our large wooden deck and watch the eagles!

Please contact us for availability as there are recurring problems with the online calendar which doesn't always seem to deal with time zone differences!

House rules

Whilst all well behaved children are extremely welcome the property does have a number of natural features that can prove hazardous for toddlers and small children (ages 2-4) such as cacti, steps to the deck, property not fenced, etc. These hazards mean parents MUST keep an eye on their children at ALL times!
Babies and older children are perhaps more suited to a stay at La Rassada, but please ask!
Pets are also welcome, but a small fee is charged to cover additional cleaning costs.
