Very charming budget condo
Left on 03/02/2013 for a stay in February 2013
This little condo was just perfect for our needs as we were in la fortuna for business and didnt need the expensive hotels with many frills. The beds were comfortable, bathroom clean, the kit hen area had everything we wanted ( stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, pots and pans, etc). Definately worth the price. It's recommend to have a car to get to asi it is outside of the main area of downtown but not too far either. The neighbors are all very friendly, in fact one of them is a tour guide and another neighbor owns the condo and she can help with all of your adventure needs while in fortuna.

Pluses- The owners, Chantel and Steven were responsive to our needs making sure everything was working and we had what we needed. The apartment had a well equipped kitchen, hot shower with nice towels and a TV that even had music channels.
Things to know- it is a long km to the edge of town on a dusty road. As we did not have a car, it was a 20 minute walk or $3 taxi each way. The view of the volcano on the balcony was blocked by trees- very little view. And the apartment is over a car repair shop so not conducive to sitting out enjoying the view. The windows are not screened so although there were few bugs some mosquitoes did get in. There is no aC but it does cool off at night.
