The BeachComber #2 Cottage is part of a triplex, three charming beach cottages consisting of two homes each featuring 2 bedrooms and one bathroom and one cottage home featuring one bedroom and one bathroom. These homes are usually rented separately and are private from each other, but they may also be rented together for larger family groups or families traveling with other families. The Beachcomber #2 features 2 bedrooms, 1full bathroom and is located within walking distance, about 2 blocks to the coveted La Jolla Shores Beach. La Jolla Shores Beach:
La Jolla Shores Beach is a family beach where you can stroll to the beach for long walks or to just bask in the sun in the afternoon. This sandy beach stretches for miles and has been voted "best Southern California Beach" The waves are the most gentle in the San Diego area and there is a wonderful playground at the beach, Kellogg Park which is perfect for small children.
Avenida de la Playa:
The Village in La Jolla Shores along Avenida de la Playa is about a 2 minute walk from our cottage and boasts some of the best restaurants found in La Jolla. Choose between world class dining at Piatti, Barbarella, Osteria Romantica or La Jolla landmark casual dining options such as Jeff's Burgers, and the Cheese Shop. There is also a great Mexican restaurant and a sushi restaurant. On Avenida de la Playa, you can also rent kayaks, scuba tanks, and snorkeling equipment. All the surf schools and surf camps are also located in the shores, so this is a convenient location for all your beach vacation activities.
