PhoenixAwesome House!
Left on 05/20/2013 for a stay in May 2013
This is a beautiful home in safe La Jolla, Ca. We were only 2 blocks from the beach. Fifteen of us in one house and we never felt crowded. We never ran out of hot water either!!! Amazing. All the amenities of home and then some!

We had a wonderful time at Heritage Place. It was my first time booking a house online so I was skeptical, but this home really exceeded my expectations. It's a beautiful house, perfect for us as three families vacationing together. They even provided bikes, folding chairs and sand toys for the beach. Beware the grumpy neighbor behind the jacuzzi who complains if you're being too loud (by his standards.) The manager was great. Location is fantastic. We saw Mitt Romney at the beach -- I think his beach home is nearby.

Woodbridge, ConnecticutExceeded Expectations!
Left on 03/22/2011 for a stay in March 2011
This is a wonderful house. So often you arrive at your destination and the lodging is a disappointment. You feel a victim of glossy photos and over- hyped descriptions. Not this house - it is just terrific. It is spacious and lovely and has been carefully thought out so anything you need is there, from fluffy thick towels to a pancake griddle. The layout allows plenty of room for a crowd with several comfortable gathering areas. The well equiped kitchen is ready for anything you could want to cook. Bedrooms are large and have comfortable beds. Bathrooms are also large and great looking. The wonderful large deck on the second floor is perfect for those seeking the sun and the area around the hot tub is perfect place for breakfast or cocktails. Our family had a fantastic time in Heritage House and plan a return visit soon.

Anthem AZThis rambling, historic home has it all!
Left on 08/12/2010 for a stay in December 2009
My family filled this beautiful, rambling home to capacity (13) last winter for an extended family reunion combined with an 80th birthday party for my mom. We couldn't have had a better space for it! This home has undergone a beautiful remodel that still allows for the historic character of the house to remain. Remarkably, the bedrooms all felt private, in spite of the large expanses of communal space in the middle of the home. The home has several levels, providing lots of spaces for impromptu meetings or for taking a moment for quiet and privacy. There were several cooks among us, and all were very pleased to find everything we could want in the kitchen. For any given meal, we had 4-5 people involved preparing and cooking, and there was more than enough room for everyone. The walk to the beach was easy, and it was a pleasant stroll past lovely homes on quiet streets. The beach itself was also perfect. From the 6 year old to the 82 year old, even in December, all agreed that there just wasn't enough time by the water. To top it off, when I needed to reach out to the management company about some items that were left behind by a family member, they were friendly and responsive, and their cleaning staff had already brought them the items for safe-keeping. Overall, we had a magical three days at Heritage Place, and my family agrees we will try to return to the same property again for a future reunion.

VirginiaGreat Place to stay with family!
Left on 08/12/2010 for a stay in January 2010
My family and I stayed at the Heritage place in the first part of January 2010 and have nothing but rave reviews for this property. It is walking distance to a very nice beach, and a short drive away from La Jolla village. The place was very clean and is a very good place to consider for large groups, especially when you factor in the other two houses on the property. The owner/manager were very helpful in resolving any questions/issues, and were very prompt in completing all paperwork (contract, refund of security deposit, etc.). I would recommend this property to all friends and family, and am confident that you will find this a relaxing place to enjoy La Jolla/San Diego. Curt

Our family stayed at all 3 houses on this historic property for my mother's birthday/family reunion. We were coming from all over the country with children of varying ages and personalities. This setting allowed us the best possible vacation. We had plenty of room to spread out, but the kitchen/living room area in the heritage house allowed us all to gather for meals comfortably accommodating a large group. We could walk to the beach easily. Some could stay up late, others nap or go to bed early, and there was room for it all. We could not have been more pleased and would happily stay there again.

I was planning a getaway with some friends for the day. This house was recommended to me and i am glad it was. The house was fantastic. Clean, spacious, quaint, and bedrooms are super romantic. Another fantastic part of the house is that it is walking distance to some beautiful beaches in La Jolla.

I was immediately impressed driving into the La Jolla beach neighborhood Windansea and got excited when the house that caught my eye driving along La Jolla Blvd was where we were actually staying. It has a huge kitchen with the finest appliances, spacious (high ceiling) dining area and great room made entertaining our group of 10 great and memorable for everyone. Thanks!!!
