This airy, contemporary, newly-decorated town home boasts magnificent ocean and sunset views from multiple levels and is just one block from spectacular Windansea Beach.

The three bedrooms and three baths span 5 levels, making the best possible use of 1500 square feet of comfortable living space. Enjoy spectacular ocean views from the bright and spacious living room as well as the lofted master bedroom. A queen size bed in the master bedroom, one king bed in the second bedroom and one queen bed in the third bedroom as well as a queen sofa sleeper allow eight people to comfortably share this lovely space.

The fully equipped kitche...n boasts granite counter tops and travertine tile and sets the stage for the elegant dining room, which seats 8 in addiiton to a 3-seat breakfast bar. To provide maximum enjoyment during your stay, the living room and two bedrooms each have large flat screen, high definition televisions.   Very nice rental, decorated nicely and in great location. Thought photo misleading, as expected house to be overlooking the water! The view was from quite a distance, but only a 5 minute walk to lovely beach. The kids had a wonderful time walking to beach and into town. The Promiscuous Fork a real find, fantastic food and a 5 min walk away. Quiet and safe area. Would thoroughly recommend.

  Cozy, homey place with some flaws!!

  A very cozy, homey place. Enough space for a family of 4. It can use a very thorough cleaning though which should be very doable for a $200.00 cleaning fee! The kitchen is very basic equipped, the dishwasher, which we needed to clean out upon arrival!, is in a bad state! The coffee machine was very dirty. The inside of the all cabinets could use a good clean as well! The shower in the loft bathroom is mediocre to say the least and almost impossible to adjust to a pleasant temperature (it's either too cold or too hot). The pictures do the house justice except they give the impression that there is a little balcony with seating and ocean view, we couldn't find it! Check-in was pretty convenient with the code except there was no mentioning of the apartment number so we had to guess! Also there is no light by the front door so typing in the code in the dark is a bit of a challenge. Parking is also a challenge, since it is a very small and busy street. The walk to the beach is very easy and we really liked the surrounding neighborhood, great little restaurants and stores, very close to La Jolla center. Wonderful Farmers market on Sunday!

  our rental was not very clean; we had dirty sheets in one room and trash was found behind the furniture and beds. large cobwebs were in the rafters and high windows and the windows were very dirty with bird poop. the kitchen cabinets were dirty and needed a scrub down. there was an overall odor to the condo that was not great. since we spent most of our time on the beach or sight seeing, we were able to make do. However, for the price we paid for one week i would expect a cleaner unit. I would recommend the owners take out the carpeting and provide air fresheners in the rooms or some other form of ventilation. also since this is a middle unit there is nowhere to sit outside; that was a disadvantage. finally there needs to be a place to rinse off outside when returning from the beach; alot of sand gets tracked in.

  The location was incredible, very close to the beach and near family (we were in town for a wedding). The home is decorated nicely and was very clean. We would make a few suggestions - the home could use extra towels and extra blankets. In addition, for people with short stays, it would have been nice to have provided some trash bags and some dish soap or dishwasher detergent rather than the renters having to purchase those sort of things that cannot travel home and don't get used up quickly.

  Satisfied our needs...less than 5 minute walk to the scenic beach. Great location..a bit crowded with parked cars. Love the area. The rental is a middle unit townhouse...very open. Master bedroom is a loft that has a view of the ocean with a lot of sunshine shining through the windows. The price was a bit high for off-season(February) but we were satisfied.

  Pleasant Week in La Jolla Condo.

  We enjoyed our winter getaway week in Windows on Windandsea. Nice location and near beach and short drive to La Jolla center. All amenities were clean and neat. Getting in and out of rear parking was "interesting", but it was free and available. Street parking is not usually available. It was quiet and convenient and worth the reasonable price when compared to some places that were more expensive and not as nice. Three flat screen TVs and Wifi are a good addition. More room than we needed, but worked out well. Would recommend for two couples or families or a week away from cold in winter or heat in summer. Owners left good information and seemed to genuinely care about guests. Near great surfing area if one is som inclined. We are a little past surfing age. Did the USS Midway & Balboa Park museums in SD and went up the coast to Torrey Pines GC and La Costa and also visited the Mission San Luis Del Rey. All convenient. A relaxing, enjoyable and informative week.

  We stayed at Windows to Windansea for a family birthday celebration in October of 2011. The property lavishly housed five adults and made for a perfect site for a dinner party for seven, although eight would have fit comfortably. With four women in our group, we appreciated the three full bathrooms, one adjacent to each of the three bedrooms. The towels were luxurious and the bed linens were soft and inviting. The two private parking spaces in the back of the building saved us from what would have been very tight street parking in front. Overall, we enjoyed the property and would recommend it to others.

  I suggest that you emphasize that there are 5 flights of stairs, 1 to get in and 4 inside. Could be a problem for some. But the place is fantastic!! SHort walk to a great beach!

  The condo while in a great location has some issues. 1) no air conditioning which made the bedroom upstairs hot 2) the 2 bedrooms downstairs smelled and had little ventilation.
