We drive to San Diego a few times every year and are so happy that we found this house. It is located just a short 3 minute walk down to Windansea Beach, which is now our favorite beach in San Diego! So beautiful and fun to watch the surfers ride waves all day. Much less crowded than a lot of the other beaches we have been to as well. As soon as we walked in, we could tell that the house had just been professionally cleaned and everything that we needed was there. We literally dropped our bags off and immediately started our vacation. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the large TV in the living room and the fireplace. The large fenced in and private yard was perfect for our dog and we had a few really nice afternoon BBQ's there as well. We plan on renting this house every time we come back.

Not knowing anything about La Jolla the location could not of been more perfect. Windnsea beach was by far my favorites which is just a few blocks away. A nice walk into town with lots of resturants and shops. I would come back and stay at this location again.

We rented this House in August of 2012 with our two kids, here are a summary of the Pros and Cons: 1). the location of the property is great, 2). the house has a tiny yard with good grass 3). kitchen was great and well equipped.
Cons:
1). My God, please do something about the bed.
2). it definitely does not feel like a $150 of cleaning.
3). the soap dish in the bathroom was broken
4). please, invest an extra $30 and get two decent bath rugs, and a tooth brush holder etc., it is these small details that makes the stay so much more annoying.
5). there is a laundry place, you will need to share with 3 or 4 other families that are in the same compound, and the laundry place is not open 24*7.
6). Check in time is at 4:00pm. -

Great rental, close to everything including the beach. the only negative was the bathroom tub which was in need of replacing. Everything else was top notch. Great place to take your dogs, secure front yard, nice landscape and good for BBQ. TV's all worked and made nights relaxing and comfortable.

The best thing about the house is it's location! Just a block or two from the beach and short drive to most anything. The place was clean. The TV in the bedroom was not hooked up and it was missing wash clothes and dish towels upon check in but all else was in good condition and the towel situation was remedied the same day it was brought to the rental companies attention. It would be nice to have orientation materials at the house to assist with knowing where to find the shared washer/dryer, the garbage and perhaps some info on the area, restaurants that deliver, etc. We had to figure all of that out on our own or ask the management company for that information. Parking was street parking only but we had no issues at all finding a space at any time during our stay. Overall the place was pleasant and serves well as an alternative to a hotel for those exploring the La Jolla and San Diego area.

The positive aspects of this rental were: A 3 minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches on the planet, namely WindandSea; the fact that the common area--- the living room--- is sun-filled throughout the day because of south and west facing windows; there exists a front yard with patio furniture, and the rental allows pets. The one drawback was a dated bathroom, but given the positives, this was tolerable. Given the other rents for comparable amenities, I feel this is a good rental.

We really enjoyed this house as it was very clean and all of the furniture was new! The beds were very comfortable and the large flat screen TV in the living room was great for watching movies together at night. We also loved the private grassy front yard which was perfect for our dog to hang out in while we were down at the beach. Thanks for a great vacation.

Ants, ants, ants. We were over run with ants, sugar ants in the kitchen and black ants in the bed in the master bedroom. They offered to come spray but I neither wanted to schedule my vacation around service personnel, and I had a dog there, so they couldn't
just send them over. The place was nice, the beds were GREAT! and in an excellent location but other furniture was minimalist. A very uncomfortable sofa and a dining table and chairs. They should put a little information book together with where the garbage
goes and where the laundry is. They advertised stereo and DVD player, but neither were in the unit. Nice, easy location, great to beach and little eateries within walking distance, away from MOST of the noise. -

we love Ca and come once a year to enjoy teh great weather. This property was perfect for us and our two dogs. The private and secure yard was much enjoyed by our two dogs. The patio was also lovely to sit out on for lunch and dinner. We very much enjoyed our stay and will definatly return.
