Situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood at Windansea Beach just 3 blocks to the steps that lead down to the sand!
The Windansea Retreat is entered via the street through a white picket fence where you follow a little curvy brick pathway to a gate that leads to the cottage nestled behind the main house. We stayed at this little house for three nights in late april. It was perfect for what we wanted: a nice neighborhood to walk around, easy access to the beach and a comfortable place to lounge around and cook in at the end of the day. It was great all around.
The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. They supplied fresh linens, towels and beach towels. The kitchen was well-stocked with the basic pots, pans dishes and utensils. No dishwasher, which wasn't a big deal to us. All of the appliances were in good working order. We had no complaints about any of the house's features.
We would definitely stay at this location again. A great alternative to a hotel and easy access to all of the things we wanted to do while we were in town.
