Our trip was truly memorable and relazing with all of our friends. It was a group of six, three couples traveling together and enjoying a relaxing vacation. Brian and Yma go above and beyond what they should do as owners. They provided us a guided tour of the best places to eat in town, what beaches to go to, and were available to check in if there were any issues in the house. They provided us with a cell phone and surburban (rental charge for the car) that was super convenient to getting around town and if needed for emergencies. The house was provided with all of the necessities we would need minus groceries. We were able to BBQ on the grill, have dinner on the patio, lounge by the pool, and enjoyed every moment of the great weather. We would definitely come back again!

I have been going to Mexico for years from San Diego. Recently, I have become scared to go down because, I'm a single Mom and I travel with my daughter. La Paz was amazing! Great beaches. Great people. Great food at every budget level. If your looking for Cabo...this ain't it! (thank God) Flying Volaris airlines, from TJ, was a breeze. We took the Volaris Shuttle bus from Santa Fe Train station (downtown San Diego) all the way to the airport for a very reasonable fee. Rent a car in La Paz or from Brian because you will need it to get to the beaches that are 24KM or so away. (well worth it)
With that said...The house is amazing. Great value and better service. Cool nieghbors and beautiful, safe neighborhood. Couldn't ask for a better location. Highly recommend this property. You need nothing but a tooth brush and toothpaste because everything is included. See if you can get a discount if you offer to water the plants...Just kidding! :0

Thanks Cindy, great to have you stay with us and yes i am not to fond of watering plants but its a great excuse to say hi and to answer the questions people seem to always have : ) Just to clarify its a 24 k drive to Balandra beach which maybe the nicest beach in the world but it is only 2 k to the beach by the home with the water slides so you can walk or ride the bikes there very easily.That being said i like having a car : )
Great that you felt so safe here in la paz, thats exactly how people should feel.
We know how safe and friendly it is but its a tough job to counter all the bad media. Hope you come back soon. Brian -

The four of us (husband, daughter, son-in-law) recently had the privilege of staying in this lovely home owned by Brian and Yma. We also rented the Suburban with the house, along with airport transfers, and highly recommend you do the same. The house is lovely and in a great location, close to everything, with magnificent views of La Paz Bay and the sunsets...it will leave you breathless! We have traveled many times to Mexico and to many different destinations...we almost always rent from owners. This was hands down the best experience we have ever had. Brian was so helpful and easy to deal with from the start. He and his wife, Yma, met us at the airport with the Suburban and made us feel like they were welcoming friends or family...what a nice way to start a vacation. House was immaculate and everything was exactly as pictured...it is equipped with everything you could possibly need and that was a first...in the past, we have always had to buy this or that and leave behind. Bought nothing but groceries and beer on this trip! The maps and info about La Paz and Baja at the house are really helpful as was all the local information gleaned from Brian and Yma. La Paz itself is beautiful, friendly and so relaxing...far away from the maddening "spring breakers" and just what we were looking for. If you are planning a trip to La Paz, and I hope you do, stay here!!!

The house was terrific! The only down side was we could not get hot showers, just warm ones, in the master bedroom at least. The house was great with all the amenities. Even Magic Jack for free calls to us and Canada. The pool is lovely and a necessity in the hot summer months. Ac worked great. We rented the suburban for getting around, which is a necessity! Especially to the beaches. Bernie, the house manager, was terrific. Don't miss his initial tour of the area! He is available by phone all the time to help with directions and hot tips for the area. Brian and Yma, the owners, worked with me to make sure we had the vacation of our dreams. I worked out an arrangement with him on payments and price, etc. I highly recommend this property to everyone! It was perfect for my dream vacation!
