If you are looking for a chance to enjoy the La Paz area's non-stop sunshine and varied activities, our cozy, authentic Mexican home, Casa Cardon, is a perfect launching point to explore the La Paz area on your next vacation. Live like a local while exploring the many beautiful and secluded swimming beaches within 30-70 minutes, as well as all that non-touristy, authentic and safe La Paz itself has to offer, including kayaking, horseback riding, shopping, dining.

Casa Cardon is situated one house in from the Sea of Cortez in El Centenario which is under 20 minutes from La Paz. Fully furnish...ed in authentic Mexican motif with comfy furniture; two full bedrooms sleep 4 comfortably. The property features high security walls/gate, interior parking.

An early morning walk on the beach is a great way to start your day before heading out to explore La Paz’s amenities. Afterward, relax by the dipping pool and enjoy the rest of the day in the privacy of the charming large patio area. On-site, reasonably priced massage/pedicure/manicure services can be arranged at your convenience. For meals, La Paz offers a wide array of dining options, and there are a few options in the immediate area. Take advantage of the full kitchen/BBQ; groceries can be pre-stocked or our property manager would be happy to provide direction or assistance in purchasing all Mexican staples as well as some of your favorite familiar foods. As an enjoyable alternative, our Mexican cook will deliver a home-cooked meal including dessert for a very reasonable price.

Not sure what to do in the area? The rental manager can provide concierge service (drop off/pickup) to many regional activities such as fishing, kayaking, golfing, beaches, eco trips, restaurants, etc. Or you may wish to rent a car from the rental manager for adventuring on your own. Picture this: the men head out for a day of fishing with a bilingual captain and the ladies head to La Paz for lunch and souvenir and clothing shopping including a leisurely lunch.

You can also do your resort wear shopping from the comforts of Casa Cardon in the on-site clothing boutique which features a wide variety of men and women's clothing. Bring your favorite designs and have them reproduced without taking apart the original piece of clothing. Go shopping or give ideas for patterns, colors, textures.

You can reach Casa Cardon by flying into the San Jose airport outside of Cabo San Lucas and taking the airport shuttle to La Paz bus terminal or you can fly into the La Paz International Airport. Once in La Paz, personal pickup can be pre-arranged instead of relying on taxi service.

  Spent a week last September 2012 in La Paz, Mexico. Stayed at this particular rental property. Very comfortable and the management staff were very friendly and accomodating. I found it was very clean and all appliances worked, they even have TV so you can watch something at night if you wish. They also have a small pool to help with the heat. And the property has a wall around it with gates, for all of you that need to feel safe while in a foreign country. I would highly recommend anyone to visit La Paz. It has no resorts, except the one at the golf course. So, if you do end up wanting to get out of the cold winter, stay there at this rental properly, I know I will next time I'm down there golfing and fishing.

  Wonderful and safe launching point to see La Paz area

  Great accommodating hosts. A comfortable walled-in (safe), home-like house stocked with all the amenities, and great beds. About 20 secluded and gorgeous beaches within 30-70 minutes drive. Plenty of fishing opportunities. All the big stores within a 10 minute drive to stock up for all your eating and equipment needs. 20 minutes to the very non-touristy, authentic and safe La Paz (we only saw 6 gringos in town). We arrived in La Paz after sunset, and although it is on a main road with plenty of landmarks, it took 30 minutes navigating around town to find it. Locals don't seem to know where anything is. Try to arrive before sunset, and be sure to bring your phone and have Joni/Fabian direct you. This place is very worth the price if you've been to Mexico a few times and know how to get around on your own, and want something different than the usual tourist spots.
