We fell in love with La Quinta and the 'Cove' the first time we saw it. The gorgeous Santa Rosa Mountains, beautiful Coral Ridge, the close proximity to over 100 golf courses, the easy 2 hour flight from Bellingham, Washington and the warm weather during the winter months all made us realize that La Quinta was a great location to have a second home. It also made it easier for us to choose to purchase a retirement home here and to rent it out as a vacation home for a few years.
Sun, sun and more sun! Golf, golf and more golf! Winters in Vancouver can be wet and dreary and it just made sense for us to have a getaway somewhere where the sun shines almost year round.
Old Town La Quinta's picturesque Main Street is lined with restaurants, boutiques, cafes and shops!

- Property Damage Protection - $49 / stay - Security Deposit - Guests pay a Property Damage Protection fee of $49. This one-time payment covers up to $1500 of accidental property damage during your stay. Guests will have the option to purchase additional coverage if they choose.
- Cleaning Fee - $150 / stay - Fee - Guests pay an exit cleaning fee of $150.00
- Transient Occupancy Tax - 10% of rental - Tax - 10% Transient Occupancy Tax applies to all rentals less than 31 days

This home is beautifully appointed with nothing missed by the very helpful owners.We would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to stay in the Desert area. We were a family of five (youngest 12 years) and everyone loved to just "hang out" at this home when we were not dashing around trying to take in all this area has to offer.
This home is every bit as nice as the photos and description. -

Very nice and comfortable home. The accommodations were better than a hotel stay. We travel a lot for business and nothing was missed in this home as far as essentials. Very quiet neighborhood too. The master bed was incredible in comfort!

Wow, an absolutely fantastic home. I wish I stayed for 2 weeks instead of 1 week. That way I could have taken advantage of the hiking trails just steps away. As it was, golf and shopping were primarily on the agenda and we were so close to many excellent golf courses. And many, many stores. It was wonderful to come back to a beautiful home with a private hottub to soak our bones and relax without a care in the world. That was largely thanks to Mark and Judy who have outfitted their home with most everything you'll need for a clean and extra comfortable stay. I'll be booking my next Palm Springs vacation here for sure...Be

This home was the perfect place for a girls' getaway. It was very comfortable, relaxing and luxurious. The owners have thought of everything!
The house has everything you could need, is close to great hiking trails and in a wonderful community.
The saltwater pool was much appreciated as it was very warm while we were there.
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to La Quinta and will definitely return.

Mark and Judy have done a superb job on their beautiful house ... everything from a welcome basket filled with all kinds of goodies including a bottle of wine to wonderfully luxurious bedding for that all important good nights sleep. The house was clean and well kept. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. We were able to completely relax and enjoy just being there. Close by, within walking distance, are great walking and biking trails. We absolutely love our short stay here and would come back in a heart beat.

An absolute gem from top to bottom. We spent a week here during which it was 110 degrees plus every day. The saline pool/jacuzzi were great. Everything inside the house from the a/C to the state of the art appliances to the cable tv to the computer to the bedrooms were fantastic.
Mark and Jody really take care of you from beginning to end, making sure that you are as comfortable as possible. I really appreciated the personal investment they had in our satisfaction.
It's a lovely home w/ all the amenities - the wide open floor plan was a huge plus as we could cook, eat, and watch tv all together w/o obstructions. Bbq outside worked great.
The pool is in the front. The back patio is separated from the pool - so if you have older kids, you can have them swim while you enjoy some time quietly reading.
A very quiet, serene desert home - loved every minute of our stay. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Highly recommend renting this home! Very professional, helpful owners, beautiful home, very tastfully decorated, exceptionally clean and organized with new appliances, utensils, linens, etc. Great layout (open plan) which is perfect for families with kids. Very user-friendly - owner provides thorough information on the area - suggestions for food, shopping, activities, as well as the ins and outs of the home, and makes himself very accessible for questions/issues. We loved the location, one block from the base of excellent hiking in a beautiful cove setting, beautiful mountain views from the house. Great neighborhood for hiking, leisurely walks, close to Old Town, which offers a great coffee shop, restaurant for take out, groceries nearby. Small neighborhood park 3 blocks away is perfect for young children. Ordered out from Stuft Pizza twice, loved it! Only went to one restaurant but highly recommend Jackalope Ranch in Indio (15 minutes)- sit outside on patio with happy hour menu...perfect for the entire family! Palm Desert zoo is great for kids! Golfing, spas, all so close. We explored all of the towns near Palm Springs and determined that La Quinta was the best for vacationing and offers the best views by far!

We just spent a glorious week in La Quinta at this house. It was just perfect - very large, totally equipped with everything you could need, and in immaculate condition. The rooms are large and the beds are comfy. It was a perfect get-away. It's also very close to tons of walking paths and hiking trails since its set at the base of the mountains. We loved it! Another great point, the pool is separate from the backyard, so it's a perfect spot with kids (you can keep the kids away from the pool while still outside playing). Mark and Judy were fantastic to work with too - very responsive. Couldn't give this a higher rating! Enjoy!)

We stayed with our Son and his family. There was plenty of room and very comfortable. Even though it was early april the kids were in the pool all day. The backyard was a different world from the pool area and was great for grilling and dining. Great hiking was 2 blocks away.

We spent 4 nights here in mid July, and loved every minute. The home is immaculate...and the owners have remembered every single detail. The bed in the master bedroom is so comfortable, we actually wrote down the make & model so that we can get one of our own! Great location, a quick drive to everything that you need, as well as lots of great restaurants.
Mark is a pleasure to work with, very organized and friendly! They have done a great job decorating, and obviously take alot of pride in their home...
We will definitely be back...we actually got engaged during our visit, so it's a special place to us!!!
