Stayed here during Coachella Music Fest. Very convenient to restaurants and shops in Old Town La Quinta. Condo was clean and well equipped. Only complaint which had nothing to do with the condo was the festival shuttle doesn't stop at these condos anymore.

The ladies at Fairway were very nice and helpful. The rental property was easy to find and clean. All the appliances worked and the kitchen was fully stocked. The bed was comfortable and they had extra linens and comforters for the pull-out.
The pool right next door was a nice bonus! Parking was plentiful and they had security guards doing regular property and vehicles check and they were all very friendly.

I stay here every year! Never disappointed. Everything is always so clean, and the staff is more than helpful. A bit disappointed that the pool closes early, I like to enjoy the spa after coming home after a long day, but I understand the need to enforce pool hours. I will definitely be returning next year.

The condo was simple and provided a good home base for us (we were in town competing at the horse show). I liked the location, and the washer/dryer helped. The kitchen was good, but could use some updates to plates/glasses etc. Also the linens were not very good - a couple of warm comforters would be most welcome. Tvs are old and small.

We were there for the Indian Wells Tennis tournament. The condo was just 10 mins. away which was a lot better than staying in Palm Springs or other points west. Plus, being in the Old Town of La Quinta, there were many great restaurants, coffee shops and things to see within walking distance.
As for the condo, it was spacious, very well equipped, especially the washer/dryer, close to the beautiful pool (almost like a private pool for us)and the gas fire place which actually came in handy one evening.
The rental company was very efficient and a small maintenance problem with a tap was quickly remedied without any fuss.
We highly recommend it and appreciated the opportunity to spend our week there.

Five minute walk to several nice restaurants in Old Town. The unit was very clean and well equipped. Our only complaint was the old, picture-tube Tv's with limited channels available.

This condo was perfect for my stay. I was here for the hits horseshow, and it was an easy drive. Around 20 min. The condo was close to restaurants,etc.

Our third stay at LaQuinta Old Town Villas and once again we had a great experience. The staff at Fairway Vacation rentals is always friendly and although we arrived after hours, retrieving our keys from the lock box was easy. Our one bedroom upper unit served our needs perfectly. But, the location of this property is what keeps us coming back. Walking distance to restaurants, a local coffee shop, the grocery store, shopping and exercise and hiking trails makes it a very desirable spot. Sunshine, mountains and palm trees surround this great property with multiple swimming pools and golf nearby...what more could we ask for?!

we were in la quinta on business. the one bedroom unit was very clean and spacious inside. it provided all amenities, as advertised. overall we were not dissappointed. (we were not expecting a 5-star accommodation.) we rated the unit a three-star to compare it with how aAa rates hotel rooms. location of villas is very convenient, near Old Town, and complex feels safe and well kept. our particular unit faced parking lot, so not best view. however, we would definitely come back to stay again.

Stayed for Stagecoach Concert. Price was elevated like everywhere else due to the concert but a good value for what you get. It was spacious with washer and dryer and full kitchen. Nice clean and comfortable.

Very nice condo close to Empire polo fields for Stagecoach. Clean, comfortable, pool was perfect, good location, convenient parking and very affordable. We will come back for sure. Great place to eat down the road for breakfast/lunch, Louise's Pantry.

Dealing with Fairway Vacation Rentals has been a pleasure. Everyone I dealt with on the staff was extremely friendly and helpful and went out of their way to find us the perfect place. Our rental was perfect and very close to the festival we were attending. The only thing I would suggest is that someone brought fresh towels everyday.

We certainly apologize for your experience. It is an EXTREMELY RARE occurrence in our properties, but the first hot days of the desert spring do activate these "date beetles" (a local euphemism). It is NOT due to a lack of cleanliness and is easily controlled by a supplement pest control servicing. Our staff did exactly the right thing in refunding your money immediately. We would have offered an alternative property, but we were "sold out" for the first weekend of "Coachella"... Again...our apologies. JTP, General Manager

I stay at the La Quinta Old Town Villas every year for Coachella Music Festival. The Location could not be better, usually everything else would have been excellent also but there was only one roll of toilette paper and it was difficult to get more from the hotel, so we had to buy our own. As far as cleanliness, the shower had mold in it, some of the plates and glassware were dirty and the sheets smelled funny. The only other thing that could be better would be if we were able to leave the keys in the room when we checked out, just because the office is in the opposite direction of our way home.

Your comments will definitely be discussed with our housekeeping department. We always leave extra paper products, so we either made a mistake or perhaps they could have been overlooked in a closet. The other issues you cited are rare comments and will be part of our discussions. Regardiing the "key drop-off"---our office is precisely en route for most drive-in or airport arrivals. If you were headed east (toward Phoenix), there would be a slight back-track. We are sorry for your areas of disappointment, but glad to see that your stay overall was "4 Star". JTP, General Manager

Though the property is a little over 3 miles away from the polo grounds (which means an extra 1.5 miles to get in from the street), because of location and ease of exit/entrance to the polo fields from the Villas, this is a perfect location for festival-goers of all ages. Though a more quiet neighborhood, there were no issues regarding noise disturbance or lack of fellow party goers. Definitely going back next year.

We enjoyed the location of the rental unit. It is nice to be able to walk to various restaurants in the Old Village. We appreciate not having to drive to dinner. The home was well-stocked with kitchen utensils etc, however it sure needs an upgrade. The living room chair was broken, the leg of the chair by the desk in the bedroom was broken and unusable. The front door to the unit did not shut tightly unless it was locked.
We were told that there is a safe in the room - yes there was but we should have been told that it was unusable for guests. We felt we were misled by this information.
We were also told that the unit had internet. We were not told that it required special equipment - it is not wifi, therefore we were unable to use it. A very big disappointment and needs to be upgraded to wifi.
We had trouble receiving calls at the unit telephone number but the problem was rectified after about 5 days.
We were not told that this was a disabled unit. The shower was only 5' tall and my husband is 6'2". The rental company did not plan this well - disabled units should be strictly for those who request them.
$2,000 for two weeks is way too much money.

I apologize for the inconveniences which you encountered. I have explored each issue with our reservations and maintenance staffs and, where needed, responsive action will be taken. Where issues were reported to us, we did take prompt remedial action during your stay. Just a word or two on certain points...the internet is high speed, but is not currently wifi. We supply (and would replace) the plug-in cable needed. The safes date back to when the hotel managed and are not supposse to be advertised or used. The handicapped shower configuration occurs in only one of the 50 properties we manage. As a consequence of your input, we are exploring a variable height system for the shower head...JTP, General Manager

We were in need of a relaxing time away, and my boyfriend and I found just that. La Quinta Old Town Villas are very quiet and comfortable. All of the amenities are there to stay at "home" (full kitchen and all necessary items), or located conveniently enough to go out and hit some super restaurants. La Quinta Village is within a short walk and has a wonderful farmers market on Sundays, along with a super coffee shop and great ambiance to enjoy the morning. The only thing I could perhaps criticize would be that the bedding seemed a bit lower-end "hotel-ish" in that for the higher quality feel of the condo, the bedding didn't match and wasn't nearly luxurious. All in all, however, wonderful accommodations! My second stay and I would return again.

and very well equiped and furnished. La Quinta is away from the
more touristy areas which made it nice to come back to every day,
but everything we wanted to do was not more than 20 to 30 min.

Fairway Vacation Rentals was an excellent and responsive service during the rental process. We expected to arrive after office closed and arrangements to get the key were easy.
The unit is very well located near Old La Quinta Village and many golf courses. The kitchen is very nice, the bathroom large and lovely, and the bedroom closet is huge. Further, the staff at the nearby hotel are very helpful though this is not a unit they manage.
The unit was very clean. However, two pieces of furniture were actually broken (a coffee table leg in living area and a chair back in the bedroom) and a light bulb needed replacing in the bedroom. Maintenance and inspection seem to be lacking.
In the future, I will investigate renting one of the units maintained by the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at La Quinta Old Town Villas and would certainly recommend it to other travellers. It was a bit of an inconvenience that we had to pick up and drop off our keys at another location, but the staff we dealt with there were wonderfully friendly and accommodating. The Condo was in reasonably good condition, although starting to show its age, both in its appointments (standard definition TV, cabled only internet, not wireless), and general wear and tear. The appliances were in working order, although we did have to make a minor repair to the dishwasher before we could run it. There were a number of burned out light bulbs as well. These items aside, we did have a relaxing stay and appreciated having (most of) the amenities of home. We stay in 4+ star hotels more than 150 nights out of the year on business, but for our vacation we would still rank the condo above staying in a hotel.

This rental was clean & spacious. It was difficult to find the rental office and figure out the afterhour procedures, and it was difficult to find the rental once on location. As a single female, I didn't appreciate the location they choose for my rental since I told them I would be staying by myself. It was close to the street & had little privacy. I'm not sure whether I'd use this rental company again when booking.

La Quinta Old Town is a great place to stay. It has good restaurants, coffee shop and trendy stores. Weekends are filled with various activities including art walks, fruit/veg markets, car shows and many others.

Enjoyed the condo - very nice to stay in - the internet never worked over the 2 week period we stayed which was a problem & if it had ever worked, you are stuck attached to a modem instead of being able to move the computer anywhere you like - we used the Starbuck's down the street instead. Check-in is a pain as you have to drive to a completely different area of town to get keys, etc. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and the location. We did hear, however, about much better deals once we had booked.

We intended to use -- and did use -- the unit merely for a "base camp"; most of our time was going to be spent with family at their place. Because of this, we did not avail ourselves of any of the extras e.g., the hotel pool or other offerings, so cannot comment on these. We can say, though, the unit was clean, quiet, well furnished, pleasant, and convenient to town and whatever you might want there. The only glitches were actually minor: there were no bowls among the kitchen furnishings (made breakfast cereal a challenge :-) ), and the TP holder was broken so TP was also a challenge. But if these sorts of things are your biggest problems in life ... count your blessings! All in all, we would recommend this place for your pleasant and casual lodging needs.

The unit was exactly as described - clean & comfortable for two people. It was great to be able to walk across the street to Old Town La Quinta for coffee and pastry in the morning. There were enough good restaurants within walking distance, that we never have had to drive to dinner unless we chose to.
The only complaint that we had was the temperature of the pool that had good exposure to the afternoon sun - it was freezing. The pool closest to our unit was heated, but the sun was blocked out by the buildings in the afternoon. -

our condo was great inside but no where to sit in the sun right outside . we were on the bottom floor and did not have a nice open place to sit. beautiful inside with everything we needed. pool close but could not take our coffee cups inside enclosure. key card did not work first time so had to wait for someone to come with a new one.

We have converted to conventional keys over the summer. The cards were too easily de-magnetized. Patio seating is limited at this development, but you are never more than a few steps from one of four community pools, each with a jacuzzi.
