We recently stayed in this La Quinta property for the second year and once again found it to be everything we need for a great stay in the desert. Relatively new with great appliances and decorating, private pool and hot tub. Just right for a couple and perfect for entertaining.

My wife & I took a weekend getaway trip & stayed for 3 nights at this property. While we were there, we decided that we would book the following weekend for another 3 nights & bring the kids. Both weekends were very enjoyable. I'd recommend this place for anyone looking to vacation without leaving the amenities of home. The pool & jacuzzi were great, especially with the outdoor stereo system on (there was no iPod dock however). While there, I didn't see one neighbor. It was the middle of summer, & I'm sure that was the reason, but the secluded feeling was really nice. All in all, 2 great stays & a lovely property.

London, Ontario, CanadaRelaxing and quality accomodations for our most pleasant stay in
Left on 05/29/2012 for a stay in May 2012
The residence was top quality and exceeded our expectations. Inside the home was immaculate, roomy and had all the necessary amenities we could expect. The service, when we had one small problem with the pool early on in our 3 week stay was excellent as they quickly addressed the problem within their capabilities. They were right on top of it, and were very good to deal with.
Although this was our first time staying in La Quinta, (all our previous stays had been in Palm Springs proper), we found the La Quinta area more current and with many great golf courses, shopping and quality restaurants in the near vicinity. The house itself was superb with plenty of room, long distance telephone to Ca and us included, as well as the WiFi. The view of the mountains and each evening sunset was spectacular. That is one small issue that when it gets hot in the afternoon , there is little shade and the deck stone is too hot to even walk on. But this was a small issue.
We would consider going back and recommending this rental in Carmela at La Quinta to others. -

Walnut Creek, CAA beautiful home with all of the amenities
Left on 05/24/2012 for a stay in March 2012
The service was excellent. Kenny Felsher was very responsive to e-mails and answered all questions promptly. He did a wonderful job of checking us into the home. The home was well equipped with everything needed for food preparation. It is a wonderful place to entertain with 2 comfortable outside spaces, lovely pool, nice sunsets and a BBQ. The location was a little far from the tennis garden, but the neighborhood was quiet with very little traffic.

Left on 05/08/2012 for a stay in April 2012
We were delighted in the finishes and decor, as well as the privacy offered by the pool and patio area. Our few service needs/inquiries were handled quickly and effectively. The location is somewhat off the track, unless you are there for Coachella.

The pool and back patio is very private and well landscaped, the interior courtyard is also very nice. -

Beautiful property with all you need! Hot tub and pool, fantastic. Pool table, fantastic. Funny but only thing that was even remotely not perfect was garage door openings!! Tight fit!!! Had a great time there.

If you want to get away from It all, this is the place to do it! Sit quietly by the pool and read a book, listen to Your kind of music, eat what you want - when you want, entertain friends, and enjoy great restaurants and shopping. We just spent a wonderful month here, hosting two visits from friends and family. La Quinta is a lovely casual community - though very spread out. This house is on the edge of the community so a car is definitely a must to get to groceries, golf and restaurants - the trade-off is comfortable peace & quiet and total privacy.
The kitchen layout is modern & efficient, the men enjoyed bartending in the 'pantry' while the ladies easily created meals together around the island. Everything you could possibly need is provided in the kitchen - whether you make occasional gourmet meals, barbecue some steaks, reheat take-out, or make great dinner reservations! The spacious master bedroom, bathroom and dressing room are great & a nice distance from the guest room. If the wind comes up, the sheltered courtyard is a perfect place to read the morning papers in the sun. For those who want action there is plenty to do in the area - besides the obvious - golf. Tons of great walking areas - mornings, we parked in Old Town and hoofed around & through the village ending with coffee & a muffin. Great afternoon walks in the shade at Lake Cahuilla. The polo clubs are just north of Carmela on Monroe, walk down on a weekend afternoon & watch a match. Explore the other desert communities - don't miss the Living Desert in Palm Desert. Lots of Lo$, little restaurants around La Quinta, we loved Solanos, Stuft Pizza & Main St Grill, splurge at Lavender.
After dinner, come back to the house for a jacuzzi under the stars and a midnight swim. Heaven...

Left on 03/16/2011 for a stay in February 2011
Wew were thrilled with the layout of the home. Everything was in perfect condition. We worried about not being directly on a golf course but learned that the privacy outweighed any negative about not being on a course.
