Presented by LUXE Vacation Homes. Songbird is a highly upgraded, turn-key furnished home located in a private gated community, minutes away from shopping, dining, spas, golf and casinos.

This 4 bedroom 3.5 bath executive home comfortably sleeps up to 12 people & is ready for your arrival with high thread count linens and towels, a fully equipped gourmet kitchen & 5-star hotel quality amenities and extras.

Outdoors: The large back patio area has a private heated saltwater pool & spa, romantic fireplace, sound, fans, umbrellas, large lawn, dining area with seating for 8 and lounge chairs.

Indoors: Gorgeous wood floors. The fab...ulous kitchen has slab granite counters, stainless steel appliances, 5-burner gas cook-top, double oven, microwave & dishwasher, under counter lighting. The BBQ is just outside.

Great Room amenities include a gas fireplace, widescreen High-definition TV/DVD, cable, plenty of comfortable seating and wet bar.

The comfortable library features more seating, desk, books and courtyard views. Immaculate, formal dining area has seating for 8. Kitchen dining has seating for 4 and 2 more at the bar.

Bedroom Descriptions: The Master Suite features a King-size bed, HDTV, private doors to the pool & spa and spacious walk in closet. Master bath area has an oversize custom tiled shower, soaking tub and dual vanities.

Bedroom Suite 2 features a Queen bed, TV and private en suite bath. Bedroom 3 features a Queen bed, TV and Jack n Jill bath. Bedroom 4 has 2 Twin beds, TV and Jack n Jill bath.

Bed and Sleeping Summary: 1 King, 2 Queen, 2 Twin, 2 Twin Rollaway, 1 Queen Airbed. Sleeps 12.

Other Amenities: Telephone with free local & unlimited long-distance, free high-speed wireless internet, fully-equipped laundry room with washer & dryer, ironing board & iron. Parking for 4. Pet friendly for small dogs only. 20 lb. max weight limit due to the concern that larger dogs will damage the hardwood floors.

Location: A+. Walking distance to the Empire Polo Fields and Club for all the equestrian activities and Coachella music festivals; minutes from the La Quinta Resort/Hotel, Indian Wells Tennis Gardens, Old Town La Quinta, and all the La Quinta golf courses are very close, minutes away by car.

Highway 111 is down the street, with Costco, Starbucks, and all the new shops along 111. Interstate 10 is extremely close allowing you to quickly head to Palm Springs, nearby casinos and other Coachella Valley destinations.

  Starting with the help that Molly provided at the vacation rental's office to staying at the house was awesome. Molly provided a list of homes that fit within our budget with 1 hour of us requesting it. The house we ended up choosing was more than we expected. Plenty of space for everyone that was staying there and provided the comfort and atmosphere that we were all hoping for. I will continue to use this service and we have all agreed that due to this experience this year, we will need to make this a yearly vacation. Thank you so much!

  Great house. Very luxuriouse. Only the pool was kind of small having all that backyard space. And could have had a larger tv in the living room. All rooms are spaciouse. Beautiful dinning room and large office. Would go again.

  Nice house but poorly managed

  Although this house is nice we would NEVER stay here again - when we checked in there was no instruction binder, could not find the garage dorr openers or keys to gate, phone did not work (were later told the subscription had expired), no instructions to use the pool or hottub which were freezing cold, could not use the WIFI. It took 3 days and over 10 phone calls to the management company (most who seem to have been on vacation on teh weekend which is when most people check in) to get some of these things working. Never did get the WIFI or phone working. Extremely disappointing for a company that uses the word 'luxury' in their title

  Peace in the desert

  Went with a group of golf buddies..was peaceful after playing golf..enjoyed hot tub, grilling out and just relaxing. Would recommend for a group with most of bedrooms were queens or doubles. Location excellent, gated and safe..parking a bit tight if more than two autos. We had a great time!!

  The property was very nice and clean. Everything worked. My only two complaints were there no keys and the wireless internet connection was encrypted with no indication of what the key was. The property manager took care of the first item, which was the most important. We will stay at Songbird again

  Expectations

  I have stayed in MANY properties in the desert area of Palm Springs. Through VRBO, management companies, etc..
  This property was clean & comfortable but by no means was it luxurious. The were unfortunately many small issues that were not up to par and when I emailed the managment company they were not adressed until 4 days after my departure.

  Songbird Not Up to DLV Standards

  There was an incredibly large amount of live crickets in all the bathrooms and bedrooms. There was dog hair throughout the house, and especially on the linens in the master bedroom. The pillows in the master bedroom have holes. There was an ant infestation
  in the kitchen so any food left out for more than 30 minutes would be covered in ants. The toilet in the master bath flushes but is incredibly loud and can't be flushed while people sleep in the room. Having rented through DLV before, we were very disappointed
  with this property. It seemed like we spent quite a lot of our vacation feeling like home owners trying to deal with house issues... Which is exactly what we were hoping to get away from.

  overall a great trip, tammi did all she could to assist us in what i understand to be a new rental. problems were upon arrival we were not able to get in the house. the pool was filthy when we arrived. the garage and back of house smelled the first two days becuaes previous renters left trash in the garage. i was able to flag down the trash man and empty trash while spending about 20 minutes with trash man loading after each time he dumped. we were also unable to get on our wireless devices which was difficult since house advertised wifi and 2 people staying with us scheduled conference calls for monday monrning
