Sun Valley Cottages is located in the center of the famous New Hampshire Lakes and Mountains recreation area. There are many family activities and amusements, restaurants and gift shops within walking distance of the cottages. Lake Winnipesaukee, one mile south, boasts historic Weirs Beach with its sandy public beach, shops and outlets, arcades, waterslides and excursion rides on the M/S Mount Washington. NH International Speedway, Gunstock Mountain, Ellacoya State Park, castles and caves, and countless other features of unsurpassed beauty are minutes away.

Sun Valley Cottages is located on Route 3 in Laconia, NH, one mile from historic Weirs Beach on Lake Winnipesaukee, ten miles from Gunstock, and 150 yards from Funspot! We are smack in the middle of New Hampshire's famous Lakes Region and close to all amenities in the area including the Mount Washington Cruise Ships, the Scenic Hobo Railroad, and the restaurants and shops at Weirs Beach.
Our fifeteen cottages are nestled in a shady tall pine grove and we have six condominiums located nearby, all closer to the beach!

This was our third time at Sun Valley. Once again we stayed during the winter for 3 nights.
There is something about a quaint cottage in New England in the middle of winter where it's quiet and you have a roaring fire and a good book or in our case video games. They have wifi, plenty of firewood and the cabins are traditional New England. There is plenty of hot water and the drinking water is very crisp. It's a great place to stay regardless of the season.
We look forward to coming back. It's very easy to get to and close to many attractions. -

I booked the 'lodge' for four nights. I ended up having to cancel the first night and stay only three. There was no problem doing this. The lodge said it slept eight people. It did. Very comfortably as well. It had a full kitchen set: pots, pans, silverware, plates, cups, wine glasses. The aC was also quite effective and managed to cool the whole place down.

This was our second time at Sun Valley.
This time we stayed in the winter. The cottages are quaint so the fire makes them perfect.
We stay here because its' close to FunSpot. The price is good and we will go back.
