This location is an upscale condo located on Lake Winnipesaukee. Immaculately clean w/ tasteful decor. The bedroom w/queen bed, large window w/ view of lake, flat screen TV w/cable and bathroom is located on the top floor. The main floor has a living room w/ pull out sofa, flat screen TV, a large slider that leads to the deck. Stylish granite counter tops in the full kitchen with utensils, and dinnerware, cookware and a washer/dryer & dishwasher. On the deck is a grill for BBQ and an excellent place to relax and watch the boats sail by as they go through the bay. A private sandy beach that is never overcrowded and excellent for swimming. It is next door to Naswa Beach Bar that has great music and food and a tropical island vibe. It is within walking distance to Weirs Beach. The condo is nestled in between larger rental properties and very easy to miss if you're not careful. Turning in you descend a steep driveway into a small parking area which was a tight fit with no cars and must be neigh impossible when there are other guests.
The condo itself is small, but perched overlooking a beech. Going in the front door we were pleasantly surprised how clean, neat, and well stocked the place was. The first floor has a pull out couch, kitchen, table with a pair of chairs and other features listed on the website. The second floor consists of a decently sized bedroom and bathroom. There deck has a full sized propane grill and a view of the beach.
The condo we stayed in (i believe there are 2 rentals here) was partially covered by large trees so the view was somewhat blocked. Our view was of a narrow strip of water and a boat yard and gas station.
The condo was fairly central to everything. Most activities were no more than 20 minutes away, and many within walking distance. It was very small, however. There were only 4 of us, but it was kind of cramped. The weather did not cooperate so we spent most of our time indoors. This would have been a good setup if we were outside most of the time but it got a little claustrophobic.
There is a beach-bar next door and visible from the deck. It would have been fine except for the music blasting starting in the early afternoon. It was turned down by dusk but was still playing all night. The listing includes a fire pit, which is also in the pictures, however there is a large sign next to it stating that it can be used "only by owners, no guests, renters or outsiders", so we avoided using it and stuck to the deck and beach.
The condo is small but has a large bed and a pull out couch. The mattress on the bed is hard, but not unusually so. The couch, on the other hand, was terrible. The thin mattress lets you feel every spring and steel bar. It's also dips in the middle and you roll towards the center with any movement.
All-in-all it was a nice stay. Aside from the couch mattress everything was comfortable and well maintained. There was no air conditioning in the first floor, but with all the windows open and a breeze it wasn't too bad. I would stay here again, but would bring my own mattress.
