  Neccarus is a fantastic apartment in Ladenburg, a small town close to Heidelberg. If you are going to stay around Heidelberg for more than a few days then this is an excellent choice. The apartment is a one bedroom with a pull out couch in the living room, so it easily sleeps 3 to 4. It comes with a fully equipped kitchen and the bathroom is sizable. The owners are a lovely family that speaks excellent English and are easy to work with. They were happy to let us use their laundry, which was very helpful. Ladenburg itself is just a quick train ride away from either Heidelberg or Mannheim, so you can stay cheaply there and ride to the attractions in Heidelberg. The train station is just a couple of blocks from the apartment. Ladenburg itself doesn’t have many attractions, but they do have a good museum detailing the growth of the city from Roman times with plenty of artifacts. And, as with the rest of Germany, excellent kuchen abounds!!!
