Situated in the heart of the Klein Karoo is a gem of a getaway. Valley View Lodge is situated in the Swartberg Private Wildlife Estate which covers a games fenced area of 2040 hectares of Karoo landscape offering an abundance of wildlife, magnificent scenery and a record species of plant and bird life. The lodge is a relaxed and comfortable property for those who appreciate nature. The main house has four bedrooms and sleeps a total of 10 guests (including children) and two bathrooms. A spacious and well-equipped kitchen leads through to the open plan lounge and dining area which opens up onto the front patio. The front patio has a built in b...raai and fantastic views over the valley. Two of the back rooms open up onto the garden patio where there is an outdoor seating area. In between the main house and the flat is a plunge pool ideal for those hot Karoo summers! The flat is very comfortable with a neat kitchen, open plan living area and bedroom en-suite. The flat opens up onto the pool and garden area. There is garden area around the property and small game dams to encourage the game to come closer to the house. This property is ideal for family and friends as well as hikers, mountain bikers and nature lovers. There are some wonderful excursions in the area such as Oudshoorn, Calitzdorp, The Cango Caves, Prince Albert and the Swartberg Pass. This beautiful part of the world is to be experienced at Valley View Lodge.
