Central location on Vancouver Island, 1 1/2 hrs from Victoria. Situated on the 10 acre waterfront property of Kiwi Cove Lodge B&B.; Kiwi fruit are grown here! The cottage has 2 private bedrooms with 1 queen bed in each and 2 full bathrooms totaling 1,200 sq ft. From the convenient parking to a level entry, the large windows and cozy wood stove make this a comfortable home indeed. Many artisans and parks in the local area and wonderful day trip adventures on Vancouver Island. Great for 2 couples, children OK, no pets please.

After 2 days of sightseeing in the area my wife broke her ankle ziplining at the nearby Wild Elements Park. We had planned on staying for 2 nights and ended up staying for two weeks in the Cottage while she recuperated from her surgery. Superb hosts, wonderful cottage. The Kolosoff's warm, wonderful, caring approach made this a special vacation despite our rough start. The cottage, located on the Kiwi orchard is a spacious 2 bedroom unit with full kitchen, dining room, and living room. All the comforts of home.

My sister and myself, along with our families, rented the entire Kiwi Cove Cottage for a week during the Christmas holidays. We had a total of three adults and four children staying in the Cottage and were very comfortable. We had a lot of room for living, playing, eating, etc. The Cottage had everything we needed - from coffee and tea to laundry detergent to enough linens and dishes to board games and books to read. The location and property itself is great and the kids really enjoyed our treks around, including going to the beach to look for shells. We would love to come back during the summer to see everything in its full growth glory. Peggy was very helpful when we initially called for information (and with all of our subsequent telephone calls). We ended up needing an earlier check in and a later check out and Peggy had no problems accommodating us. We would definitely stay again - thank you for making us feel so much at home!!

My first stay at Kiwi Cove Lodge was with 19 friends. We rented the facility for the awakening World Society. It is located just minutes from the Nanaimo airport and close to a BC ferry terminal. The rooms were spacious, clean and all had excellent views: some of the forest most with an ocean/orchard view. I have been on many retreats at different facilities and without a doubt Kiwi Cove has the best food. Make sure you take home some kiwifruit jam. The owners are very warm, helpful and flexible. There are great places to take walks around the property. Like warm water many of our participants enjoyed the hot tub. Sometimes several times a day. Our stay was for 5 days and we were so impressed that we booked 2 more retreats at Kiwi Cove Lodge

We enjoyed the relaxing, scenic setting and the opportunity to have our cat accompany us. The beautiful kiwi orchard and lush surroundings with a view of distant mountains was a welcome break from our urban setting.

Extremely well equipped kitchen. Coming from australia we felt the cool temperatures a bit and were well pleased to be supplied with abundant firewood for heating. We had two full bathrooms with loads of linen. All this, combined with a very comfortable living area. made our stay very enjoyable

Great cottage with lots of space to accomodate several people. Very cozy environment and excellent kiwi jam!
Only suggestions - the kitchen is lacking in some implements and didn't have quite enough plates/bowls for our group.
