Welcome to CasaTrigoso! This apartment has a large patio right in front of the sea and is perfect for a family with children or a group of friends. You can walk down to the beach in a minute or just sit back and marvel at the view. The apartment is located at Dona Ana beach - one of the most beautiful beaches in the Algarve - and only a 5-minute drive or 20-minute walk from downtown Lagos.

The patio is enclosed by low walls and has a large lockable gate, making it particularly safe for children to play in. There is also a rose garden and a cactus garden towards the side of the apartment. The large outdoor area is perfect also for grilli...ng food and inviting friends over to dinner with a stunning view of the sea.

The apartment is part of a larger beachfront property which has been in our family for the past 50+ years, having originally started as a small fisherman's cottage. We currently also rent the upstairs apartment which is a cozy one-bedroom apartment with a terrace and a spectacular view of the sea. Both apartments have separate entrances and parking areas.

The area surrounding the property is generally pretty quiet and there are two neighborhood stores functioning year-round, as well as a small coffee shop open during the summer months. The entire property faces the sea and to one side has a tourist condo and on the other side the cliffs that go all the way to Ponta da Piedade (please check the map provided for info on the surrounding area).

- Long-stay discounts available!
- Cleaning fee is ONLY charged for stays under 4 nights. Stays of 4 nights and up have no additional cleaning fee.
- We process payments through RentalSystems which requires a damage deposit on all our bookings. There is the option of making a fully refundable €300 deposit OR a non-refundable €36 damage deposit waiver fee.
- RentalSystems adds a 2.5% flat rate processing fee on all bookings.

  Casa Trigoso was our favorite place in our two week, four city trip. Despite a few snags (the washing machine and air conditioning broke down) we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was very roomy and clean, with comfortable beds and good linens. It has a fantastic location - right above the prettiest beach in the algarve - Praia da Dona ana. We liked having two (cute!) bathrooms and a big sunny side yard for drying our laundry. A few small complaints - the dining room chairs were quite uncomfortable so we used the plastic set and dined outside. You can hear the people in the condos in the hill beside you - fortunately you can shut out most of the noise by closing the windows and doors on that side of the building. No big complaints - the owners were always responsive. We would go back in a heartbeat.

  Communications with owner, directions, service on location were all great. The location is really fine, right above the beach and with a small coffee shop about 50 meters away. The house was very clean and the kitchen is well stocked with utensils, appliances, pots & pans, coffee maker, tea kettle, etc. Beds are very comfortable. Two bathrooms very convenient. A crib is provided for the many families that come here with small children. The sofas in the living room and on the porch could easily serve as single beds. There is a clothes washer and a dishwasher. The staff at the house are very courteous and helpful, we appreciated their assistance very much. A really good seafood restaurant a short distance away. There is a TV also, but we never used it. We were just two people, but this is a very good spot for families.

  An unexpected picturesque beach front apartment

  A delightful property, literally a stone's throw from the beach, and so much more authentic that the nearby apartment blocks. Lovely seafood restaurant nearby, and owner was very helpful- actually gave us the larger apartment to give us more room.
  
  I would recommend this place without reservation.
