Portugal was lovely with a friendly atmosphere the area we stayed in could not have been better. The villa was very clean and comfortable with laundry changed in the middle of the week and the reception staff very helpful. Lagos is a lovely town that you just enjoy walking around and the marina is well worth a visit. There are a few beaches in the area
