Bluegrass Country Estate Kentucky B&B; is so much more than its name implies. This Inn is located in LaGrange (Oldham County), Kentucky in the heart of horse country and is an exquisite estate away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but convenient to Louisville and Lexington. It is the ideal location whether you are in the area for business or vacation or attending local events such as the Kentucky Derby, Breeders Cup and/or the World Championship Horse Show.

From the luxurious linens and splendid artwork to the fitness and theat...re rooms, this country manor estate features accommodations and amenities that were thoughtfully chosen for your utmost comfort and convenience. Experience Kentucky hospitality in an atmosphere unmatched by typical hotels and other Bed and Breakfasts. Bedrooms are furnished with Scandinavian Sleep Systems to assure a great night’s sleep!

Breakfast is served in the formal dining room, in the privacy of one of the two sunrooms that overlook the side pasture and garden, or the patio and pool area. You can also reserve the Turf Suite and eat outside on your own private patio.

There are plenty of choices for relaxation: sit on the porch and read, take a dip in the beautiful pool, relax in the hot tub, get a little sun on the patio, watch movies on the big screen in the theatre room and enjoy popcorn from our old-fashioned popcorn machine. You can also go to the workout room and use the treadmill, stepper, weights and other equipment. The fully stocked game room offers everything from cards and board games to pool.

Bluegrass Country Estate is located on part of what was originally planned as a 5,000-acre Arabian Horse Farm development. The major facilities are now a Thoroughbred Training Center and there are beautiful horse farms throughout the area. Being in the heart of horse country has its advantages for both you and your horses. Bluegrass Country Estate’s horse barn is a great place to lodge your horse while traveling to horse shows, attending local events or to stay with us and ride our private 25 miles of trails along Harrods Creek. It has eight beautiful, comfortable stalls and a wash bay. You can also turn your horse out in the pasture so they can stretch their legs and kick up their hooves. Truly the ideal place for horse and country lovers.

Bluegrass Country Estate is one of the only bed and breakfasts in the area that is located in the country and offers luxury inn accommodations with so many amenities. La Grange is just 30 minutes from Louisville and about one hour from Cincinnati. It is a quaint town and one of the only in the United States where a train runs through the middle of downtown. We have unique shops, great places to eat and visit throughout Oldham County and close enough to Louisville to explore there as well. The Bluegrass Country Estate Bed and Breakfast is in L'Espirt, a 5,000 acre equestrian community with beautiful farms throughout, on a working horse farm with almost 10 acres of our own. We have horse lodging as well and 25 miles of private riding trails for those that bring their horses with them. There is also a stable just minutes away where you can experience riding in the country on beautiful horses provided at a nominal fee. We also have access to a Thoroughbred Training Center closeby where we take our guests to watch the upcoming stars workout in the morning. We have plenty of private parking.

$880 includes rental of the entire Inn which includes 4 rooms and 1 suite. Individual room rates range from $160-$200 with the exception of special events and/or packages. 10% taxes are added to all rates.
