  The place was lovely with high class amenities faucets, kitchen appliances...
  
  The place was clean and well maintained. The TVs worked nicely. We felt secure and comfortable.
  
  The beds/mattresses were very comfortable. If you open the windows you can fall asleep to the sound of the ocean.
  
  The view was as pictured.
  
  The location was great. There is a fantastic restaurant in the same block and you are just steps away from the ocean.
  
  My only complaint was the monitor on the computer didn't seem to be working properly. We couldn't get it to hold the screen open, which was unfortunate.
  
  Darby, who checked us in, was very nice and patient when our Hertz car wasn't ready for two hours.

  We had a wonderful stay at 120 Cress. The place perfect for us. The view is phenomenal but also the owner of the place was so kind to check on us to see if everything was to high standards. The convenience of walking distance to great restaurants and the private beach we enjoyed was just an incredible pleasant vacation. We loved in particular spending time in our own fire pit overlooking the sunset. We will certainly visit again. We would rate this cottage a 5 star!

  The unit has a nice bar looking down to the water and you can hear the waves from each of the rooms. It is the best of the 3 units on this property if you like hearing and seeing the water. Parking was in their garage which is much better than feeding the meters during the day. Kitchen and bath nicely done. Our only problem was with the internet, struggled to get the WiFi to work although the ether worked fine. Owner tried hard to get the wireless to work but wasnt successful.

  This is our second visit to Cress Point in two years. We absolutely love this place. We travel with our three children, ages 9, 8 and 1, and every day the two older children asked if we could walk on the beach and go to the cove. The location is absolutely primo, the view is breathtaking and the service is outstanding. It's a short walk to the heart of the shopping district. The beach is right outside the gates. In the morning you can see dolphins swimming by. The beach has rocks on either side that you can easily walk on and get close to the water without getting wet.
  
  The rental itself is terrific. The decorating is beautiful. The rental has everything you need. Plenty of glassware, plates, silverware, etc. The beds are comfy and it's just a great place to come back to after exploring So Cal. Even our toddler loved coming "home".
  
  This will be an annual trip for us, and we can't imagine staying in a hotel or any other rental for that matter. Cress Point provides a tremendous value and location for it's price. We did not want to come back to Long Island when we left. And we are already looking forward to next year.

  This condo is located steps from the ocean. To wake up each morning and have my coffee with this amazing view was heaven. The decor was tastefully done and both indoor and outdoor fireplaces were awesome extras that we thoroughly enjoyed. Our only complaint would be all of the deliveries that the nearby restaurant receives bringing loud trucks down this otherwise private little cul de sac. We would rent the three bedroom next time as we had small children in the unit attached to us who unlike us were early risers and we could hear both their voices and their television through the common wall. We had an awesome time in this little slice of heaven and felt as comfortable on vacation as we do in our own home.

  This rental is in a very nice location, the fire pit is great and it allowed us to stay outside though the weather was cool some evenings.
  The view is beautiful and the sound of the ocean a treat!
  The unit was smaller than i thought from the photos, though very well decorated and comfortable.
  Any problems in the unit were promptly attended to and the service was friendly, we were overall very happy with this accommodation. Thankyou!

  Jury Is Out On This Laguna Rental

  I am a bit conflicted on this rental. I stayed with my daughter and two guests from Sweden for 2 nights. The house is small, but photos shown by owner accurately reflect the overall appearance. The real selling feature for renters is the extremely close proximity to public access to the beach. That could not be better. And the beach, when we were there in early November, almost felt like our own private oasis. The downside is also the extremely close proximity to public access to the beach. There is a constant parade of surfers, dog walkers, and every description of people who enjoy the beach - using that public access. We were eating lunch in the patio, which is directly next to the sidewalk, and experienced a number of passersby who commented on what we were eating - and seemed ready to drop on by. If you have a need for privacy at any level, this might no be your rental of choice. The chairs on the patio are actually bolted down so I can only assume that in the past, some of the passersby may have liberated one or two chairs. (Also I tripped over one of the bolts on one occasion)
  This rental is located at the end of a cul-de-sac and there are delivery trucks pulled up in front of 120 Cress St the majority of the day as they deliver to two restaurants at the other end of the block. Parking is almost non existant in November so I can only imagine what July must be like.
  The house was clean and orderly. Three large flat screen Tv's and new appliances. The owner and the contact were polite and friendly. In summary, if you want to be close to the beach and privacy at the most basic level is not a consideration, this is a good rental. If you are looking for a quiet and private place to sit in the patio with family and friends, this may not be a good choice for you.

  As the owner of the property, I was surprised by the review, we have a lot of reviews that rave this property and for $385/night for 2 nights, I can't imagine a rental better than and luxurious than this in Laguna Beach by the water, can't believe that this guest expects a private mansion and private beach access for such an affordable rent. The guest had a reserved parking in the garage.
