My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in 212. It was the perfect size for the 2 of us and we really didn't want to leave. The updated kitchen with the full size fridge were great and allowed us to cook when we wanted to. It was so relaxing being able to have the windows open and listening to the surf at night. Everything we needed was provided and the beach chairs were a great bonus. I feel that this was a great value for the amount we paid.

We had a great stay in 212 in the beginning of March.. Very nice location with a great view of the south part of Napili Bay, and Molokai. The kitchen looks recently remodeled with nice KraftMaid cabinetry and a stainless stove, way nicer than ours at home. 2 boogie boards, 2 beach chairs, an umbrella,, and a cooler, were provided. At first we would've liked a high table and chairs on the lanai, but the regular chairs were very comfy. I do believe we will stay in 212 again. Thank You Lyn and Charlie!

We loved our stay at Napili Bay Resort #212! It was the perfect location. The view of the beach and Molokai from the lanai is amazing. The condo is very nice and comfortable, and had everything we needed: kitchen supplies, Wifi, TV, comfortable bed and pillows, nice beach chairs and other beach gear. The owners and site managers are very friendly and helpful. We loved Napili Bay beach, it's very close to the condo. We also enjoyed the hiking trails in Kapalua and working out at Crossfit Napili. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

Wish that we had spent more than two nights in Napili Bay 212. The apartment was well-appointed with a beautiful kitchen. My husband and I enjoyed spending time on the lanai looking out at the water. Loved the two restaurants that were a short walk along the beach from the apartment - would absolutely recommend Sea House for Happy Hour and The Gazebo for breakfast. Great community feel. We already have recommended this apartment to friends and family.

Great small location to enjoy the beautiful beach and ocean. Everything was very nicely done. One note, the housecleaners did not clean the glass cooktop on the stove. I found the appropriate cooktop cleaner in the kitchen and was able to clean it. It was our third stay at Napili Bay condos. S Waldron

The Napili Bay Resort was everything that was advertised and more. We visited many beaches on Maui and Napili Bay was the best. In the early morning you pretty much have the beach to yourself, but it never really gets that crowded, even in mid-day. The condo was clean with updated kitchen, and the lanai offered a great view of the bay. The full kitchen was great for cooking our own meals, which allowed us to save money and have nice evenings in when we wanted to. The owners were very pleasant to deal with when making the arrangements. We will definitely come back!
Had everything we needed.

The condo was clean and fitted with everything one would need. Since we were there mainly for breakfast, lunch, changing clothes, and sleeping the space was very satisfactory for the two of us. There is no a/c unit but by adjusting the louvers and keeping the fans on we were very comfortable. There are two private entrances with showers on each side of the building allowing guests to enter the beach and on your return shower before re-entering the condo. The beach that fronts the property was perfect for families with children of all ages. Since we were visiting in the middle of September there were mostly young couples, families with small children under 5 years old, and retired couples. We fit into the latter catagory and enjoyed walking the beach and swimming in the ocean at all times of the day. Late afternoons you were able to watch the large turtles swimming around the rocks at one end of the beach. A spectacular sight.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful anniversary week away from the hustle and bustle of San Francisco in Condo 212... from the time we arrived to the time we departed, everything was easy, clean and well maintained. Napili Bay is the most perfect beach in Maui (if not all of Hawaii)... we can't wait to get back! The condo had everything we could have asked for... great beach chairs, fun boogie boards, kitchen essentials and even a community BBQ for perfect afternoon lunches.

The condo was spotless, well equipped and extremely comfortable. The location gave us a completely relaxing sun filled vacation that greatly exceeded our expectations. Large supermarket is a 10 min drive. Wifi is fast and reliable. Very quiet complex with no traffic, bars or restaurants to disturb the evenings. "Travel brochure" swimming, weather and sunsets.

This condo is wonderful. Sitting on the lanai, you can view an amazing sunset over the ocean. At night, you can hear the ocean while you sleep. It is also only steps away from the beach. There are other good beaches nearby. Wonderful restaurants surround the area. Walking down the beach is an amazing area to snorkel with sea turtles. I am definitely saving the the name of this condo and resort for friends when they asked where I stayed. The Napili area is really nice. Staying in this condo in this area is a steal.

While we liked the renovated kitchen and the location right on the beach, we would have been happier with a comfortable mattress and comfortable chairs in the sitting area. We have stayed in many condos on Maui and this was probably our least favorite. It is very small, quite dark and dated. The boards around the deck make it feel even smaller than it is. Read more
We are disappointed that the condo did not meet your expectations.
However, many of our guests have commented positively on the comfort of the bed and the recent remodel, for example in a review, dated 2/15/13 the guests stated, "The room has been recently updated with a whole new kitchen and the bed was very comfortable." and also added, "We loved our stay at Napili Bay unit 212 and will be back."
Over the last year we have remodeled the kitchen, added recessed lighting through out the condo, purchased new living room furniture and made several other changes to ensure our guests' comfort.
Recently we had a professional photographer take photos and create a video of the many updates that have been made to unit 212. The photos and video should be available online by mid-March.

My wife adn I spent our 10th visit to Hawaii at unit 212 Napili Bay resort. We have visited 5 of the islands and have stayed at over 20 different condo complexes, two bedroom, one bedroom, studios, on the water away from the water, ocean front, ocean view you name it. We consider ourselves very experienced Hawaii vacationers. This was by far our new most favorite location to stay. The Napili Bay beach is totally awesome, sit in the sun, sit in the shade, swim, bob, snorkel or boogey board. The Gazebo restaurant next door has awesome breakfast on the south end of the bay and the Seahouse has awesome dinner on the north end of the bay both walking distance along the beach. The room has been recently updated with a whole new kitchen and the bed was very comfortable, the wireless internet worked well and had strong signal, important for me to keep in touch with work while whale watching from the lanai. The complex is super well maintained, the ouside eating and BBQ area is clean and maintained, the laundry room is clean and well maintained. The Napili Market Place is close enough to walk to and has a nice size grocery store and teh Napili General store is next door. We drove less during this stay because the location was so perfect. Lyn was vey profesional in her corespondence with us, kept us updated as the date approached and ensured we had the instructions for check in and check out. The local overseer checked in on us while we were there so we always felt cared for during our stay. We loved our stay at Napili Bay unit 212 and will be back.

We enjoyed staying at Napili Bay Resort in unit 212 because of it's location to Napili Bay, nice lanai view, and affordability. It was a basic studio with easy access to the awesome Napili Bay and all that the West Maui area offers. It had everything we needed for our week long stay. Little things about unit 212, such as a spare sunblock and aloe as well as a fully stocked kitchen, were appreciated. We can tell that the property is kept up, as there was basic maintenance and upkeep going on all throughout our week but nothing that was loud, or major constructive, easy to live with for sure. Some properties on Maui are really run down and while this unit and building are older, it's in good shape. The unit did not have aC, it stayed cool with breeze from the bay and open shutters and we were comfortable. Although not beach front, it still offered an enjoyable view. It was great that beach chairs, beach umbrella, were available and waiting for us on the lanai to use throughout our stay.
Only little issue we had was that the shower drain did not drain well. We let care takers for this property know upon our check out.
For someone looking for basic, clean, and affordable Maui accommodations, this is a good spot. I would recommend this for a couple or single traveler, not a family since it's a studio. It offers a great location and comfortable place to stay while on Maui, especially if you are big fans of Napili Bay.

With this being our first time to the Hawaiian Islands and Maui specifically, we went with some research, but also with doubt and skepticism. Our positive attitude, faith, great descriptions and accurate pictures ahead of time paved the way for a remarkable visit. The area of Napili was (and is) absolutely perfect for us. Low -key, non-'resort-y' with walking distance to a wonderful general store with most anything you could need and, of course, Snorkle Bobs for the fins, masks and (eventually) wet-suit tops (highly recommended for longer stays in the water). The weather high 60's for the lows and 83 for the high with 'friendly' winds.
This and the area above Napili proved to be our favorite even after doing the Hana Highway and Southwest down to Big & Little Beach. A day trip to Haleakala was great, as was venturing upcountry to Paia and Makawao (our favorite upcountry town). As we are not the 'large resort, you must pamper me, mall shopping' types, where we stayed proved critical to one of the most memorable experiences we've ever had. In fact, life changing.
The condo was everything we'd hoped for and more. The view was intense and welcoming, parking was easy, finding the place was easy and getting around was equally easy. The condo was amazingly furnished and outfitted with kitchen utensils and pots, pans and dishes. Cooking and preparing (mostly breakfasts) was easy for us. Cleaning supplies helped too. The beach chairs and 'noodles' and beach towels were great to have. Leaving was the hardest part.

We were under the impression that this was a beachfront from the pic on Vrbo but it is off to the side. Units 101/201-109/209 are the only beachfront units. There is also no a.C. And if it would get real hot it would be stifling but there was always a great breeze. The light from the resort next door shines right into the balcony so they should fix that.
So that's the whiney stuff. It is very economical and the beach is wonderful. Snorkel Bobs is a block away. Snorkeling was better than the snorkel trip to Molokini. We should have spent more time just hanging out on the beach than traveling around the island. Napilli Bay beach is indeed a slice of heaven at a reasonable price unlike many other places in Maui. The other folks at the condo were very nice and friendly. They gave us suggestions on their favorite resteraunts. There is a small grocery walking distance and a larger one down the road. We'll definitely be back. We'd much rather spend more money on food than lodging.

I was really pleased with the Napili Bay Resort. I usually stay in Ka'anapali and had never ventured to Napili Bay. When I walked into the condo that was wonderfully furnished, well maintained, and had a gorgeous view of Molokai, I was extremely happy with my decision to stay at Napili Bay. This was one of my best trips to Maui, and I definitely plan on staying at Napili Bay on future, frequent trips to the island.

For a relaxing getaway, this is the place. It is right on a small beautiful beach for swimming. Snorkeling and turtles right off the beach. The unit has everything you need, and nothing you don't. The porch (lana'i) is great, and includes body boards and beach chairs. Bed is comfortable. Bathroom clean and plenty of space with a good closet. The kitchen has everything you need, but the counter space is a bit small for preparing a meal (and having the dish dryer out there). This place is an ideal location for just relaxing, listening to the waves (and wind), and getting away. However, it was our first time on Maui so we wanted to explore the island a lot. It is a little bit of a trek from many of the island sights: Haleakala, Hana. Even going into Lahaina is a little pain because of traffic and lack of parking there. But we loved our stay and would stay here again. Next time we will spend most of the time just in Napili. It is an ideal location for rest and relaxation.

The unit has comfortable, tropical-style furnishings, and is well-equipped. The balcony affords wonderful views of the ocean, beach and sunset. From there, we watched humpback whales and sea turtles. The balcony gets the afternoon and evening sunlight, so it's a great spot to sit and relax after a day of activities.

The check in was effortless. I was a little taken aback when we first opened the room up - it was a little stuffy, but after airing it out it was comfortable for the entire stay. The kitchen was functional and well equipped, aside from some chef knives which had been badly abused. Still managed to sharpen them up and get to chopping. One thing which was irritating was the flood light which is right outside the porch - seems to be there for asthetic purposes, but just hurt my eyes and detracted from seeing the stars. Oh well, you can walk down to the beach in 1 minute so comprimises can be made.
Snorkeling in Napili bay was good fun. Kapalua to the north is much better and we recommend visiting it with a short walk or getting to the parking around 9 or 10.
Bring your binoculars for whale spotting - we saw them every day from the beach. Several breaches and flipper flapping! Read more
The flood light is used for security purposes. I have talked to the property manager and he has agreed that the light can be moved so that it will not shine in our unit. We have agreed to have that done by February 16

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Napili Bay (Unit 212) From September 20th-27th. I have to commend the owners of the condo for providing a wonderful experience! The unit was well appointed, with plenty of room for 2 people to stay comfortably. The view from the lanai was great. You can see the beach, ocean, and point easily while sitting outside.
If you chose to stay here, you must make the 2 minute walk along the beach to the Gazebo Restaurant. Best breakfast on Maui!

We highly recommend the Napili Bay Resort! From the moment we made our reservation to the end of our trip, the owners and management staff anticipated and addressed every need and question that could have arisen. The owners give very complete instructions about accessing the condo, where things are inside, and what the specific amenities are. They are very friendly, helpful, responsible and attentive.
The condo itself was equipped with everything we needed, from basic toiletries, to kitchen appliances, and even folding chairs, an umbrella and boogie boards for the beach!
The condo is very comfortable for two people. It was clean and well-maintained. The kitchen is stocked with cooking equipment (including coffee maker, toaster, blender, etc.) Even without air conditioning it was quite comfortable. It was possible to get a breeze running through the condo quite easily by opening the blinds. The lanai had a great view (Unit 212).
The amenities that were included made planning our day trips and excursions a lot easier and simpler: a landline telephone, wireless Internet and cable TV. There are also laundry facilities on site and a common-use barbecue.
The beach is truly a gem. Sea turtles poke their heads up to see you, and all kinds of fish are around for great snorkeling. Napili Bay Resorts really has the best location on this beach.
The location was also fantastic. Within walking distance there are 3 general/grocery stores, a coffee shop, snorkel equipment rental, excellent restaurants, hiking trails, and several other lovely beaches. It's out of the way from the crowds and scarce parking of Lahaina, yet only about a 15-minute drive away.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Napili Bay Resort. The beach out front is great for soaking up the sun and it isn't loaded with tourists passing by. There are also a couple other adjoining bays that were fun for snorkeling. The room was small but definitely all we needed to make for a perfect romantic getaway. The sounds of the water at night made for peaceful sleeps! I'm pretty sure if you stay here too, you'll have a good time.

Condo 212 was excellent! It had everything we needed and even had bogie boards, beach umbrella, and chairs. The room was very clean and had extra blankets and towels. My only complaint was that the refrigerator was not cold enough on the first day and my ice cream melted and we had to move everything to our friend's refrigerator (They were staying at Napili Surf). But the refrigerator work well the next day. I was really happy that this room came with a steamer so I was able to steam rice. Overall, the stay was wonderful and we had a great time. My husband and I spent a wonderful week at the Napili Bay and enjoyed every aspect of Condo 212. It was furnished in a tasteful traditionally tropical manner, and we didn't miss having a big screen TV or dishwasher. Everything that we needed (beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels) was provided for us. The condo was close enough to the beach to have a great view of the ocean and Molokai, yet far enough away to reduce the sound of the pounding surf. We have stayed in the Napili area before and condo 212 was our favorite experience. Napili Bay is a great location for morning walks, relaxing on the beach, playing in the surf, and whale watching. Several friends stayed in nearby units, and we enjoyed the nice BBQ and outdoor eating area together. We also really liked the Sea House, Gazeebo, and Pineapple Grille restuarants which are all within walking distance. Napili Bay is a true gem and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

We have stayed in the Napili area in the past and really enjoyed the area. This unit was very clean, had an amazing view from the lanai, and had exactly what we needed. It did seem to be a bit dated compared to other condos we have rented in the Napili area but really it had everything we needed. We thought the price was fair for February. We will definitly consider this condo again when we return to Napili Bay. The owner may want to know that the wireless network was unsecure (the password they provided wasn't needed).

We had a great time on Maui. The condo was clean and well-designed for 2 people. We used the kitchen to our benefit. Access to the gorgeous Napili beach was restricted to people staying at the condo, although, of course, by law all beaches in Hawaii are public, so Napili beach was crowded when we stayed there. That did not detract much from the beauty of the beach and the views of distant Molokai and Lanai. Also, within a 10-minute walk of the condo is public access to Kapalua Beach, named one of the world's top 100 beaches. Can't beat that! The condo is within a 15-minute drive of Lahaina and its many shopping malls and wonderful restaurants. I highly recommend any of the condos at Napili Bay Resort. This is our second time at this resort in the past 10 years, and it has not changed in satisfaction over that period.

We loved staying here, especially since it had a full kitchen, a view of the beach, and it was a stone's throw away from the beach to go relax. It was also really nice that there were beach items to use in the condo like chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear, etc! Air conditioning would have been nice only because it was unusually hot during our stay, and I was 6 months pregnant at the time. The mattress was also a bit too firm for my liking, but that is to be expected. I loved that this place was out of the way of the bigger touristy towns, leaving us with lots of privacy. The only part that we weren't too crazy about was that it is required that everyone be charged $100 for cleaning upon checkout, yet we were responsible for taking out the trash, doing the dishes, putting dirty towels in the appropriate place, etc. It only costs me $65 to get my whole 1870 sq. ft. house to be cleaned, so I think $100 for the tiny studio condo is a bit steep. All in all, we'd return for another visit!
I just loved it.

appointed room with a beach view, exactly as advertised. Far away
from the high-rise hotels and crowds, we shared our lovely beach with
a reasonable number of other guests, and enjoyed the few close
restaurants (The Sea House is a five minute walk away, and some of
the best food we had on the island). The snorkeling wasn't
spectacular, but there are plenty of other places on the island for that.

My husband and I truly enjoyed our wonderful time at Napili Bay Resort(condo 212). The condo was very comfortable and welcoming. We really enjoyed being right on the beach with great views! We even survived the 6.7 earthquake while we were staying here!
The outdoor shower and BBQ/Laundry area were great to have onsite. We would definitely rent this condo again.
best location in Maui!

Best swimming location on Maui.Although units close together, they are set up to be private especially the balcony.Outside area(picnic, parking, beach)beautiful with lots of wonderful plants, flowers, banana trees.Beach has a big tree for shade!if you want it. Lots of turtles rite in water.low waves.Stretch of beach to rite has other properties which includes a bar at end of beach. How nice to walk to have drinks and be able to walk home. Property to left has gazebo on water for breakfast(banana, coconut pancakes the bomb)or lite lunch.Snorkel Bob(rental of snorkel gear)just a short walk from unit. This unit is small, with oldfashioned wallpaper, but clean with great kitchen & bath.Plenty of storage.Other renters low key. No parties. Just a nice, relaxing place. Area of island great, away from too many people in south of island. No airconditioning so got hot during day.Had to keep blinds closed to keep sun out. Ceiling fan over bed helped. Unit only comfortable for a couple, too small if kiddies.Nice sunsets on balcony. Units have picnic area with nice grill and nice washer/dryer bldg.Bring own beach towels. Unit has 2 beach chairs& beach board. Beach infront of units save with no rowdyness. Nice small unit with only around 30 units.Close to famous golf course yu can walk over there and walk around the place(includes hotel,homes,2 restaurants.)All in all, beautiful area feeling more like neighborhood than highrise hotels. Owners very nice.

We really enjoyed being so close to the beach. Its a small bay with a few other condos and the waves are a good size for everyone to play in and have a good time. There's some lava flow with tidepools, too. There were really nice beach chairs to use, plus boogie boards and beach towels. It was so nice to sit on the lanai and read out books or have a drink. The kitchen was very well equipped. I liked the decor and the bedspread. We had everything we needed. Thanks!
