We were disappointed that this Unit was pretty outdated! Have rented many units at Valley Isle and this was one of the only units that had not been updated! It was short on dishes, and the unit lacked color! The view was nice but not worth the money!

We stayed for three weeks in room number 1206. We intended it to be a dream vacation, and Maui is wonderful, but the room was terrible. The bed was old and dilapidated, so we had back and neck problems the whole time. The couch was broken and leaned so that it was difficult to sit straight on. The microwave blew circuit breakers, one stove burner did not work, the lower TV channels had poor picture quality, the room was quit disheveled with items just wadded into the closet. The room needed painting, maintenance, and upgrades. The building has extensive fire and repair work ongoing (January, 2013). Not what we expected for an expensive condo.
At least the rental agency, Chase'n Rainbows, acknowledged the problems and gave us a small refund. They suggested that we should have notified them early in the stay, and perhaps we should have, but I did not see much that they could do while we were stuck in the unit (it should not have been on the market). Aloha and Mahalo for the time you took to write and post this review. We take guest comments and reviews very seriously and we are currently working with the owner of this affordable studio vacation rental to make some updates and changes to the condo including a new bed and sofa. Clean-up/demo after the Labor Day fire to the commercial (gym) building and repairs should be complete by the end of March ’13. In regards to the stove, upon inspection we found the stove to be working fine, the coil burners just needed to be pushed in a bit more into the element after the maids cleaned.
Had we been given the opportunity to rectify these issues during the guests stay we certainly would have done so.

Nice sized condo with all needed ammenities. Free WiFi, coin laundry on 3rd floor. No a/C, but not needed (I do not like that stuffy, humid, sweaty feeling so I was worried at first) There is a beautiful breeze that flows into the condo constantly, from the front of the Lanai and the back door can open to a screen if you wanted extra cool air. Dollies restaurant literally across from the parking lot has amazing homestyle food and McDonalds is just a 3 minute walk. We woke up every morning early to the sunrise and the sounds of water gently rolling against the shore. Many mornings we could see sea turtles from the lanai.Highly recommend for this price!
This studio is perfect...great location, amazing view, plenty of room for two people. No a/C but with the constant breezes you don't need it. The property has a nice sandy beach, an adequate pool and is located within ten minutes of Lahaina. The off season rates made this a very affordable stay. We stayed at Valley Isle thirteen years ago and would definately stay here again! Great value and highly recommended!

We were very pleased with the location of our rental unit and especially the view from the 12th floor. However, I will have one comment to make and that is that there is not enough lighting in the room. Only the lighting in the dressing area is good.
My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Valley Isle Unit 1206. The view was breathtaking. The location was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. I have and will recommend this unit to friends and family.

this rental should have a dishwasher and laundry in the unit. Machinery on the top of the building is very noisey. owner double booked unit so we were forced to stay in a different unit one night. the office never notified the front desk at vallley isle so we were horrified when we went to our unit and it was occupied! If the front desk had been notified, they would have stopped us from going to the unit. we got to stay an nicer unit, (with laundry and dishwasher) which then made our unit seem not as nice.

We booked our condo and fun through Chase 'N Rainbows and they did a great job for us. We loved our condo. Top floor, right off the elevator. Looked right onto the beach and the open sea. Awesome view to the right and left as well. Loved the location. Close to Lahina Town, Kannapali and anything that we wanted to do. It was great having everything that we needed supplied for us except food! The pool, the grounds the room and the people at Valley Isle were very nice. We would definitely stay there again unless we chose another island to visit. We loved being able to walk off the elevator and go across the small lawn directly to the beach. It was everything we dreamed of. The only thing that bugged us during our stay was our broken down coffee pot that had trouble staying together and the sliding screedoor that needs new rollers. It was difficult almost every time to open. But sleeping with the slider open each night and hearing the crashing of the waves was paradise. We have already recommended the Valley Isle Resort to others that we know. It's a great place. Clean and well kept.

Great to wake up every morning to the sound of the ocean, seeing whales off in the distance, the turtles oceanfront and the rainbows over the island of Molokai. Enjoyed having the Kahana Sports Club on the grounds to maintain my daily workouts. Looking forward to returning to the Valley Isle Resort and hopefully to unit #1206.
