Nice condo, well equipped and kept, beautifully located in the 9th floor of a building directly at the beach. Remark: The Ocean view from the condo is in reality much nicer than it looks on the photo. But it's good to see that their are wings of buildings in sight - so you will not be disappointed, but positively surprised.
Very calm. As announced on the website the entrance area is under reconstruction, but we had no issues due to noise or dirt.
No a/C but when windows are opended there was the nice ocean breeze through so we had always a comfortable stay over night. We can strongly recommend at this fair price

We enjoyed our stay in 902 as we have the past few years. It is a good condo. We do have two concerns. First, I think as a matter of courtesy that we should have been informed that there had been a fire in the complex last year. The result was that there was hoarding all around which prevented a flow through of air which could cool the condo. I would like to know when the hoarding will be removed as this could have a bearing on whether we return to the complex next year. Second, we would like to see a small dining table on the lanai so we can eat outside in a proper fashion. That is part of the Hawaii experience an almost all of the other condos have this feature. Finally, we know this condo is being sold. We would consider it again if the hoarding is gone by next X-mas and it is still available. But all in all we liked the condo, the beach in front, the people we met,and the marine life we saw in on the beach. Yours, Jay Smith and Elizabeth Smythe

This unit needs some repair but all easily fixed. Toliet ran and previous guests had also left a message. New hook on back of bathroom door and one more thing that I left on the evaluation sheet in the room, but can't remember now. We're always considering an upgrade on our next stay but after staying at Valley Isle since 1983, whatever unit we have is like our second home.

Valley Isle 902 is Enchanting

902 is a great condo. It has great views of the ocean. In the years that we come we have seen whales, turtles and sea lions from the lanai. There are cool evening breezes that make it good to sleep. The internet let me stay in touch with the world, but it keeps the flavour of the islands.
Each year we return to this condo and it always meets our expectations and then exceeds them. It has exactly the right balance between the feel of the islands and the need for convenience.
The Valley Isle reef improves for snorkeling and the area is full of great restaurants that are either a short walk or a short drive to get to.
The beach at Kahana is good, but the location is also very central to many other beaches, none of which take more than ten minutes to get to once you discover them.
We will return to the Valley Isle and recommend 902.

The condo was clean, well stocked and had a great view. Our coffee pot was not working and we received a new one within the day ...in fact two. The only problem was the washing machine which also was broken. The repairman came within a day, but the machine needed to be replaced.

We stayed 13 days and almost everything was perfect. The condo showed some age, but was very clean and had every convenience that we needed. The only real "downer" that I saw was that we were on the ninth floor (too much time in elevators). But I guess, if you're 75 yrs old, you need at least one pathetic gripe. This was my second experience with Chasen', and they have earned my trust.
