Does it get any better than a brand new condo at a brand new resort? Enjoy mountain views of North Kaanapali from your private lanai (the Hawaiian term for furnished balcony area)! You can watch TV on either of the two flat screen televisions located in the living room and bedroom. The bedroom also features a king size bed and alarm clock so you will be on time for all of your vacation activities. Adding additional sleeping space, the seating in the living room is actually a pull-out queen-size sofa sleepr. An in-unit answering machine will pick up your missed calls, and you can bring your laptop to enjoy free internet access from the condo.... Parking is available for a fee of $10/day + tax.
The kitchen is just as alluring as the rest of the unit. Cherry colored cabinets and lustrous granite countertops are blend well with the stainless steel appliances (double sink, microwave, range, and dishwasher). It's no wonder many vacationers never even get around to using the available gas grill! The two bathrooms in the unit both have chic glass shower stalls. Other things you should know: there is a washer/dryer unit off of the kitchen, there is central A/C and ceiling fans, and the pool and Jacuzzi are exclusively for resort guests.
When looking for things to do during the day, consider the following ideas. There are many places that offer lessons: surfing, ocean rafting, sport fishing, scuba diving, and hula! For those interested in the culture and history of the area, explore the local museums or sign up for a walking tour. Restaurants with superb food and drink are easily found, as are romantic sunset dinner cruises. Take your pick of all that Hawaii has to offer!Read more

We just stayed at the Honua Kai in the Hokulani tower unit 928 for 8 nights. It was fabulous! The resort was unbelievably beautiful and the condo was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return. The location was great and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Duke's was a great spot to eat and so convenient. A perfect vacation!

Dukes alone is a reason to go. My husband and I have been to Maui so many times we cant count. Dukes Restaurant is the best dining experience you will have on the Island. Its fun, service is great,Jason the bartender is great.
Relaxing and beautiful.Great food. Honua Kai is the newest and nicest condo complex in Maui. Great snorkeling. The rooms are nicely decorated. We had a mountain view room that was amazing. We opened our sliding glass patio doors all the way open, got a glass of wine and just sat for hours relaxing. The cafe in the first floor had great sandwiches and breakfast. Lobby is modern and gorgeous. Swimming pool is ok. It winds around like a river with lots of landscaping. Wasnt my thing so I just went in the ocean. Overall all great experience.Near Kapalua and Whalers village. Ps: Try Star Noodle in Lahaina. Worth
it for unique menu with asian Infusion. good prices nice decor and Excellent food.

We enjoyed a second great stay at Honua Kai renting through Chase N Rainbows. Everything was in excellent condition like we remembered and the people at Chase N rainbows were so easy to work with. Our unit was beautiful and clean. We look forward to our next visit.

We stayed at the Honua Kai resort making arrangements through Chase N'Rainbow. The value for our money for the condo was incredible. There were so many ammenities provided on grounds and the location was ideal beachfront. The unit was clean, modern and comfortable and our week stay was more then ideal. The Honua Kai is definately home away from home and I would highly reccommend this resort to friends and family.

The Honua Kai is a fantastic new condo development and I would highly recommend others to stay there while in Maui. We had our infant with us in a one bedroom condo and it worked out fabulously. The interiors of the condos are done to a high standard, the pool and grounds were beautifully designed, and Duke's restaurant was very convenient for a meal or late night Mai Tai!
The only negatives would be very poor pillows on the beds and no beach towels included for use (things you'd expect when you pay +$200/night). Also, next time we'd definitely pay the extra for the ocean view versus the mountain (highway) view.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Honua Kai resort, and we had a fantastic time. Unit 928 was spacious, beautifully appointed, and brand new. The resort itself is gorgeous - and we were lucky enough to be there for the very first day of pool service from Duke's restaurant. Picturesque facilities - the nicest on Maui.
