This is the 2nd time we stayed in #B208. We feel so privileged to stay in this delightful condo. The condo is always clean and has every amenity we need. It is so convenient to all the Island of Maui has to offer. We will only stay @ Papakea as we enjoy the knowledgeable concergie, the courteous office staff, the kind groundskeeper; whom alerted us to some sea turtles approaching the beach in front of the condo. Security is never been a question at the Papakea as we have always felt very safe there.
The ease of booking with Chase "N Rainbows keeps us coming back. I have nothing negative to say this unit is just lovely. -

My wife and I have visited maui many times, in fact this was our 14th visit to papakea since 1987. We Love papakea,
B208 was one of the nicesest condos we have ever stayed in at this resort, well done!
The only negative was the queen sized bed, we prefer a King.

We have known about Papakea for a very long time, but have always stayed at another resort. For different reasons we decided to give Papakea a try this time, and we were very glad we did, in fact we booked again for next year. The condo we had, B208, was in the perfect position, with a commanding view of the putting green, pool and barbecue area and also the ocean and islands. The condo was comfortable and nicely furnished with a lovely kitchen. The lanai was where we ate most of our meals, and not being big fans of high chairs and tables, we felt a little bit more exposed than we would in normal height table and chairs. The kitchen was very well equipped, once again we only had small issues. We would have liked some plastic glasses for the lanai (we broke a wine glass on the tiles)and also some basic condiments would have been helpful. Maybe the picnic version of salt and pepper and some spices in small amounts, so that we didn't have to buy all that as well as the food items, local grocery stores are all fairly expensive. Also we would have liked beach towels to be provided, as packing our own beach towels took up a lot of room in our luggage, and most other condos we know, provide beach towels. The sun loungers on the grass at the ocean's edge are lovely to spend lazy afternoons reading, if you can take your eyes off the ever changing ocean and islands. The yoga class was a bonus, so Papakea is our new favourite resort in West Maui.

nice resort. My family rented 4 different units and ours was actually G106 I believe. very dated compared with the other 3 (one being my mom's in B208). drains were plugged and could have used a mop. If some units have not been renovated they should not be the same price as those that have.
disappointed with the conceriege.(sp?) wouldn't help us book a table at a restaurant because the number wasn't in his database. told us to find the number ourselves. which we did back in our unit in the phone book.
