This exclusive 1 bedroom condo is exceedingly elegant. The bedroom has a king bed with bright throw pillows, a nightstand with alarm clock, and a flat screen TV. The living room also has a flat screen TV (with DVD capability) and a sofa sleeper, which is queen-sized. Central air conditioning keeps the unit cool, or if guests want to savor the tropical air the private lanai (Hawaiian term for balcony/patio area) has a partial ocean view. The lanai also has a table fit to seat four. Access to both pools, a Jacuzzi and the complex's shared exercise room is included in all reservations.

We were very pleased with the quality of the appliances and furniture in the unit. The kitchen was fully equipped and the bathroom was very large, with a separate shower, also a beautiful soaking/bathing tub and double sinks. The unit was large enough to entertain our entire family for dinner (11 people) - using the balcony. The doors to the balcony open fully and you get a nice cool breeze off the ocean. There is a separate entrance to the balcony from the bedroom. The bedroom also has a separate entrance to the bathroom. Very comfortable, pleasant unit. The resort ahs several beautiful pools with hot tubs and cabanas for rent. Only a few steps to the ocean with a convenient shower just off the entrance to the ocean to remove sand, etc. We also grilled many of our dinners, using the available grills situated on the property near the pool area.

Honua Kai was an awesome resort with beautiful pools and direct beach access. Our room was impeccably clean and a wonderful arrangement. The location was central to all of our activities. We had the best family vacation in Maui. We will definitely stay here again.

The home was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Sufficient supplies were provided in the unit. Very nice appliances. Liked having a washer and dryer in the unit. It felt like being home but in a warmer and more beautiful setting. Short walk to the pool or beach.
The location is close to many restaurants and activities. There are many activies within a short distance.

Everything was really great with our stay in Unit 244 at Honua Kai. From the lanai, you have a nice view of the pool area and the ocean. The large bi-folding door is really great. All of the units have them. You can really bring the outside in with this door. Our unit was very clean and well equipped.
The only problem we had was with our door code at check in. Check in time is 3pm. We were hoping to get in a little early with our children, but were told that check in was strictly at 3pm. Then the code we had didn't work, so that was a bit of a run around. It all worked out and this was on Thanksgiving day so their normal office was not open.
Overall, I would highly recommend this unit and this resort.

This condo was very lovely,well appointed and located nicely. We would have appreciated a few more staples in the kitchen. It is hard to buy cooking supplies for such a short stay. The whole property was great, quiet, and al in all

Loved everything about our stay in unit 244. Beautifully kept, comfortable and well appointed. Loved the location of the resort and the pools were amazing. While a bottom floor unit would have made it a bit easier for the kids to go out and burn off some steam, this unit is so close to the elevator that it wasn't really a problem. Lots of grass for the boys to run around on and we could watch them from our balcony. The staff maintained a calm professionalism during the tsunami warning and all was well taken care of.
