This deluxe 1 bedroom suite is incredibly polished. Tiled in the kitchen and entryway, the rest of the unit is carpeted. The bedroom has a king bed with bright throw pillows, nightstands, and flat screen TV. The living room also has a flat screen TV (with DVD capability) and a sofa sleeper, which is queen-sized. Central air allows guests to adjust their environment, or if they want some fresh air the private lanai (Hawaiian term for balcony/patio area) look out on elegant palm trees and has a partial ocean view. Access to the pool, Jacuzzi and exercise room is included in all reservations.

Wow! What a great place! We just got back from our vacation and loved Honua Kai. The place is brand new and well appointed. Close to all the beaches, underground parking and 3 pools. We loved it! Would definitely go back.

We typically prefer Sheraton properties but this time we wanted to try a condo so we could have a kitchen & washer for our 7 night stay. The condos at HK are all modern and new looking.

This was our second year at this fabulous resort! Chase N Rainbows manages well and the room itself is very very nice! The resort is wonderful!! The pools and the hot tubs can't be beat!! Want something yummy to eat that is close by??? No worries...try Dukes or the little food place right on the property, both are terrific!!! I must warn you though...if you stay here...you will want to come back again and again!!! Aloha!!!

My family loves the Honua Kai and we had an excellent stay in #218. Easily accommodates a family of four, has peekaboo view of the ocean and all of the amenities you expect from an upscale resort.
Only two drawbacks: a constantly-running compressor beneath the unit distracts from the atmosphere on the lanai; the employee entrance is directly beneath and quite active ~7:00am - disturbing light sleepers.
Overall it's a tremendous value. We'll definitely be back!

We took our 7 and 10 yr old daughters to Maui- none of us had been before. This resort is hands down, amazing! We loved the decor, the cleanliness, the staff was wonderful, grounds were beautiful and you can't ask for a better scenic view. We are already planning our trip back for next year with our young son as well. Very family oriented, Duke's Beachgrill was awesome too! Highly recommend!

Dealing with Chasenrainbow was a great experience.The service and room was great.I recommened everyone use your rental service.We have been going to the islands since 92 and this was one of the best rooms we have stayed in.So good we have already booked for next year.

Honau Kai Condominiums are in an excellent location if you are looking to venture out all over the Maui Island. The resort atmosphere is wonderful, the grounds are extremely well-kept and the beach is so close!
We would recommend requesting a different Room if you are interested in the perfect view. #218 looks out over a construction site that is on hold and it is directly over the staff doors - which means a lot of noise early morning! -
