Enjoy majestic ocean views from a luxurious wrap around Lanai (the Hawaiian term for furnished balcony) at Honua Kai! This brand new suite is accessible by elevator and the entire space features a sophisticated and modern decor with contrasting light and dark colors. Both bedrooms include king sized beds and flat screen televisions (DVD capability is included). There is also a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room, and an additional television. ChasinRainbows did everything for me and made this really easy. The room was incredible and the grounds were the same. One of our children guest said "This place can't be for real". Very comfortable condo and obviously new. All of the glass front doors opened bringing in the fresh and clean air from the ocean. The location was close to shops and dining but with a family I would recommend Costco near the airport, there is a lot of storage area in the kitchen to bring food and cut down on expense. It was also very nice to have the washer and dryer in the unit. Great place to be able to take the kids or after discussion with my new bride, would be really worth splitting the room with another couple and leaving the kids at home. The only negative I could come up with that still did not sway my rating, the staff at Honua Kai treat people that book with them a lot better that through a private company like I did. I still would not change using ChasinRainbows and was happy to not have to contact staff for anything.

This unit was amazing and far exceeded our expectations! We loved the fact there were beach chairs and body boards for use in the closet. We quite enjoyed the balcony that opened up to an incredible view of the ocean. Definitely would stay here again! :)

The place is great - very spacious, with a great view of the water. Our twin boys had a great time hanging out and so did we. Lots of comfy furniture to lounge on and easy to get to places.

Honua-Kai #439 is a lovely property. All the units are basically identical inside, but I picked this one especially because of the expansive lanai. It did not disappoint! Dealing with Chase 'n Rainbows was also a pleasure - with anything that wasn't working properly, they promptly took measures to insure that our stay was enjoyable.
The unit is fully equipped, though it didn't have beach towels (bring your own) and also doesn't have a disposal (I recommend install to avoid some nasty plumbing problems later).
It does look out over the courtyard with units all around, up and down, so dining on the lanai isn't exactly private, we will certainly be back!

This unit is perfect for a small family. The location is tremendous, with a great combination of on-site amenities and a 2-minute drive to groceries, pharmacy, etc., and a 3-minute drive to the main highway. Being able to walk to (and back from)the beach in 5 minutes is also great.
The unit is furnished exactly as shown in the pictures, with new high-end appliances including a he washer and drier. The lkitchen has lots of handy utensils and cookware and the place settings are also very good. The walkout balcony is nice, as is the ability to use the nana doors to screen off the balcony and take advantages of the breeze flowing through the unit.
Very nice to start our stay with a small supply of dishwashing detergent, dish towels, paper towel, etc. Linens are also very good and quite plentiful.
Local tips: the nearby "local" beaches are fantastic for snorkeling. Don't forget to go further north, where there are also some great beaches. Lahaina is very nice for a day, as is Whalers Village. And Duke's restaurant at the HK is very good - excellent service and tasty food.
We visited the Fairmont and the Ritz Carlton during our trip, and all agreed that HK is far superior - particularly re location.
The only downside: our stay came to an end, as all vacations must!

My wife, mother and I spent 5 nights in Konea 439, starting Sept. 12th. It is a beautiful 2BR unit with a great wrap-around balcony looking straight out to Lanai. The beds were especially comfortable. Everything we needed was in the unit, including a great collection of beach accessories (chairs, cooler, snorkeling, boogie boards etc). Jill and everyone at Chase N Rainbows were very helpful and a pleasure to work with. Honua Kai is a very nice resort with the underground parking, plenty of pools, Duke's and the aina Market right there. It's location near the Kaanapali resort, Lahaina and Kapalua is perfect. We would highly recommend this unit and hope to return in the future.

Our first impression when walking into the condo was "wow"! The unit is very clean,spacious,and comfortable. The wrap around deck was wonderful. All 5 of us adults could be out there doing different things and not feel crowded.
It was a treat to have beach chairs and equipments available to use.
The entire complex is beautiful, lots of lounge chairs around the pool area to relax.
I'd definitely come back again. -

Exceeded our expectations, new clean, close to a great beach. Snorkeling and boogie board equipment in the closet was a great surprise! We bought a skimboard for my son to use and left it in the closet for the next guest.

We had 2 units ( 445 & 439) We Had a party of ten ( 6 adults--4 children --7,5,3,20 months).
We appreciated the clean clean unit, the washer/dryer, the kitchen, we had a fantastic balcony, the bathrooms were clean, the pool areas were super. It was a great time!! -

Great condo, beautiful grounds, we've been to Hawaii many times and this is the best placed we've stayed. Great place for kids.
