The facilities were great. The beach was fine, but not great for snorkeling or swimming. The pools were nice and lounge chairs were always available. The shaded parking was great! There was a bar/restaurant, but I would have liked a place for my teenagers to get a snack or pizza. Employees were very nice.

We have stayed in this condo twice now and have not been disappointed. The condo and location is fantastic. Condos and grounds are well kept and you have everything you need to make this your home away from home.
We would definitely come back! -

This was our second trip to Maui spent at the Honua Kai (different unit)
I was there with my daughter and two grand daughters, what a great location. Our unit was two bed = two bath was large , very clean with a great view of the ocean. Seven nights just wasn't enough. They had two pools,four hot tubs a small (Small) water slide, and pool service provided by Dukes. All said spent most of our time on the beach about 50 yards behind the pool! I am ready to go back

Room was great. Comfortable, clean, well furnished, lots of room, beautiful view, zero complaints. Grounds were nice and well maintained, nice pools, beach in front was good but bring aqua socks because the coral starts about 10 feet out.
My service rating really applies to Chase N' Rainbows. They were polite and helpful when I had questions.

Although we loved the spaciousness of this 2 bedroom unit, there were many negatives. This condo does not have a garbage disposal. The trash chute is on the opposite side of the building making disposal of trash very inconvenient. In fact going anywhere on the complex was a long walk. The design of this building traps the noise in the location of this unit. Therefore, we were awakened each morning at 6:30 with screaming children. The lounge chairs around the pool are 2 inches off the ground and the most uncomfortable chairs we've ever sat in. We saw many guests bring the chairs from their lanais. The pools were icy cold except for the one wading pool which was impossible to swim in.All in all, we did not feel the high rent was worth it. We did like Duke's restaurant on the complex. The beds and bedding were most comfortable.

Place was clean no bugs. It's got a great view and it's so practical wen you have kids it was like staying in a 5star resort in the best suit they had. Thanks again we had a blast will see you next year
