The service was great, the cleaning impeccable, the room had funky and charismatic decor, amenities were good, the price was right etc. Chasen Rainbows was an efficient and friendly company to work with. The only reason this review did not get 5 starts was because the complex does not have recycling bins in rooms or public areas, and it is not made clear how to reduce/recycle waste. It is very important to help tourists minimize their environmental impact.

We stayed in Maui at the PapaKea resort condo K102, and it was great. The location of the condo on the bottom floor next to the pool was great. Putting green just out our door was also fun. The Bbq's around the pool are great, and we did BBQ twicw during our stay. The actual condo is very confortable and very clean. Everything worked great. The only negative about the place, is that it does not have a beach. Although it is ocean front, it's rocks. There are though a couple of nice beaches near by.

We really enjoyed our Papakea K102 stay. We grill out on the big grills by the pools twice. Grass was great to walk on in bare feet. Putted for a couple of hours on the nice (really) putting green. Washer/dryer and dishwasher worked fine. After 10pm was very quiet. Good for those retiring early.
Beach wall was very close, and many whales to see with binoculars. Had my best sunset views at Papakea. The kitchen was greatly equipped and very new everything. Supermarket across the street was convenient for buying groceries. Only bought 2 meals outside during our stay. Hooked up my computer DVD to the TV (via Hdmi) and watched a couple of movies on the 32" LCD TV. Only complain is the bed was pretty lousy. Could feel the springs.
