  This was my 5th trip to Maui but first to Honua Kai and we loved it!
  
  The unit was exceptionally well-stocked from the kitchen to the 'fun closet' full of huge beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella (though the trades can get pretty kicking!), etc. The bed extremely comfortable and the bathroom nice and spacious. When not in it or on it, sitting out on the lanai looking at the ocean was pure bliss. We even had a small following of birds come visit.
  
  The property manager was also very responsive - like when I managed to lock myself out of the room despite having 3 keys (ok, the one I had became de-magnetized)! Though make sure you have all of your 'starter kit' of supplies - I didn't realize until I went to do the laundry on the last day that we never received our detergent. Not a huge deal for us but we couldn't get the towels started for them on the day we were checking out.
  
  I would definitely rent this property again - Mahalo!

  Our family of four just returned from an 8 night stay in this unit. This was my first time booking through Vrbo and I was pleasantly surprised at the service received. Everyone I dealt with was so responsive and available for questions.
  
  The unit itself was gorgeous, just as shown in pictures. I wasn't sure how I'd manage without daily housekeeping, but it was really no big deal. We stayed at Honua Kai last year but booked through the resort and had housekeeping, but they just "refresh" the rooms. Save the money and make your own beds. Since my teenager likes to sleep in, I would take advantage of that time to tidy up. There's even a broom, mop, and vacuum in the unit (which was great to clean up all that sand).
  
  Beach towels provided were great, big ones. They came in handy. Boogie boards were not great. One was broken and they were kind of small anyway. We ended up just renting some. Beach chairs were awesome!
  
  I loved having the washer and dryer in unit. Dryer takes a long time, which I knew from staying at resort last year. But no big deal. I'd just throw a load in after coming back from our daily excursion.
  
  We ate breakfast on the lanai most mornings and prepared a couple of lunches and dinners in the room as well. It was very convenient having all the kitchen/bbq itensils available. I shopped at Safeway which was way too busy. I also shopped at Times market on the next trip. Prices were fine, and was much less crowded.
  
  Pools were awesome! The kids (and parents) loved the slide. Never had a problem finding chairs. It was not too busy. In comparison, we walked through Grand Wailea and I think I would have gone crazy with the busy pools there.
  
  All in all, great resort, great room. I would highly recommend. Also, kudos to Maui Blue Properties for their service. If I had a condo here, I would not hesitate having them manage it.

  My family and I spent a week at 444 Konea and had a great time. We were welcomed to the property by the property manager who helped make sure getting settled in to the unit was seamless. The condo was clean and well appointed. The patio and beautiful Maui weather made a great setting for breakfast and family meals. The condo property also had great pools, a water slide, and a lazy river, which truly added to our stay. We'd recommend this unit and property to our family and friends.
