Whaler 923 is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath ocean view condominium located on the popular courtyard side of Tower I. It’s 9th floor location offers expansive views stretching from the West Maui Mountains, across the resort courtyard and out to Kaanapali Beach. The unit has been completely renovated from top to bottom and is in outstanding condition.
King bed in master, 2 queen beds in the second bedroom and a queen sofa sleeper in living room to comfortably sleep 6 people.

Just stayed at this unit and we could not ask for anything more! Everything was there. Enjoyed the fact that we got views from either sides, ocean and mountains! We loved that there was the washer and dryer and full kitchen!
We would definitely rent this unit again and recommend this to all. Also loved that there was free service to print our departure boarding pass at the lobby and our baggages were held at the front desk until our shuttle pick up.
Amy at the front desk was very helpful and very accommodating.
All in all, this is home away from home!!! Loved it!
Only Suggestions would be that it might be time to update the toaster and coffee maker and fix door to master bedroom shower. These are not complains but rather suggestions only.

This is a beautiful and very spacious unit. A home away from home, you are provided with all you need to make your stay comfortable. Gorgeous ocean and mountain views from the wrap around lanai. Bedding needs some upgrading but other than that; great place to stay.

my 2nd stay at the Whaler.first was in 2010.liked the complex & location. 923 is in a great location looking at the West Maui Mountains, The Whaler courtyard (Koi pond ) & a view of the ocean. When the curtains & slider doors are opened during early morning or early evening, 923 is bright & airy. I was disappointed that for the high expense of what we were charged to stay in 923 I didn't expect to have to washdown the kitchen countertops, sink, Stove top, & dinning room table upon our arrival. They were dirty. We had to wash the silverwear as well. Mid-way through our one-week stay my wife pre-heated the oven & the entire unit filled with smoke. I guess there had been a spill from a prior renter & the oven had never been cleaned. Remote controls for the TVs needed new batteries and they too were quite filthy. Even with fresh batteries the remote in the master bedroom did not work. The carpeting is soiled and we were sensitive to this as we do not wear shoes in our own house and we maintain that practice in other people's homes (it should be shampooed). I was also disappointed at the lack of response from Monte Fitts realty. I had sent an email to Karen@thewhaler during our stay to tell her of just a couple of these issues (which was the address provided on the Monte Fitts website as the person who handled the vacation rentals) but that email had come back as an undeliverable email address. I then forwarded the email to Monte and was disappointed that there was no response from him or anyone at his office during our stay and even after we got home. The unit needs a top to bottom cleaning. The property owner or manager should also take some time to clean out the myriad of canned goods (obviously left by previous renters) from the pantry that have long exceeded their expiration dates. In all honesty, for my next trip to Maui, if we stay at the Whaler,I will not go through the Fitts agency again.
