I have been going to Maui for the last 20 Years and Nohonani 105 is far the best place to stay. I have a 3 year old little girl and she loved playing in the grass and watching the turtles come up on the beach at night. We will diffently be staying here again in the near future...Karl

Concord, CaliforniaWe love Nohonani!
Left on 03/29/2013 for a stay in July 2012
This was our 2nd stay at Nohonani. We like "low-key" and "low-rise." It was a treat to be so close to the ocean--we could step directly out our sliding glass door to lawn, ocean and beach from our ground-floor unit. The sound of the waves is so soothing at night. One night a sea turtle came right up on the beach. This is an older condo, but our unit was very clean and up to date inside. Across the street is a wonderful little market, and cooking in our unit and eating outside on our lanai was such a pleasure we rarely wanted to go out to dinner. If you want nightlife, you can drive down the road just a few miles. Great swimming pool. Our teenage grandsons loved jumping off nearby Black Rock into the ocean. (too scary for us oldsters...) For outings we went into Lahaina, went snorkeling at Molokini and Honoloa, up to Haleakala (the volcano), and to the Ocean Center (aquarium). Would come back every year if we could!

Left on 06/28/2012 for a stay in June 2012
First of all, we used to own this unit. It must be special considering the fact that we don't stay anywhere other than Nohonani #105 even after we sold it. It's like coming home. The proximity to the water and the fact that the condo is stocked with most anything you need is what we like the best. It's a great place to just kick back and relax. The sofa should be replaced sometime, but that's a nit really. It's a beautiful home in a quieter area of West Maui. Maui Lodging was very professional and they let us check in early. That's a big deal when you're tired from traveling. The unit was nice and clean and they left us a box of chocolates. We'll be back.

Washingtondisappointing
Left on 05/28/2012 for a stay in April 2012
This unit was run down and the plants had grown so tall you could not see the beauatiful view from the unit, as advertised. So disappointing after relying on Maui Lodging to handle only the most well-maintained units.

Manager
Mahalo for letting us know about the plants and will pass this information on to the landscaping manager. The curtain in the bedroom and living room were torn and have been replaced. We have also installed another blind on the lanai to help block the afternoon sun. We have also replaced the stereo and have bought all new towels, sheets, wash clothes and the kitchen pots, pans, and utensils. Maui Lodging has responded quickly to correct these issues. The two star rating is a little hursh however we do apprediate the feedback.

The staff was wonderful and attentIve. They went out of their way to help us with our luggage prior to check in. The condo was located steps from the water and close to the farmers market. We were able to walk to the Kaanapali beach walk every day. Some of the furnishings were tired but the staff acted quickly and efficiently when a deficiency was pointed out.
