The condo was tidy and overall very well equipped. It was a bummer that there were no laundry supplies provided and the kitchen supplies were also minimal, with dull knives. But we appreciated the kindly provided beach chairs and boogie board!
The condo is conveniently located close to Front St. and the water in a quiet neighborhood. While off-street parking is available (parking at the condo requires a daily fee), it can be very hard to find a place to park on the street on that block. We found a quiet side street 2 blocks away to park the car each day.
I'd definitely stay here again if I returned to Lahaina!

When arriving at aina Nalu, I went directly to the front counter to pay for parking. I told Liz at the front desk that I needed to pay and obtain a parking permit for the 12 days that I would be staying. She asked me for my last name and I gave it to her. Liz then told me that she did not have a reservations for me. I told her, I had rented the unit through a company and already had the entry code for the room. I told her, I was instructed to come to the front and pay for parking. Her attitude changed and said, "Oh you rented directly from an owner." She was argumentative but had no problem taking my $180.00, I paid to park there for 12 days. I asked her for a map of the property, so I could find the condo. Liz told me, "Your not entitled to any of the amenities we offer our guest. You will need to contact the owner to find out what is included in your stay," I told Liz, "I am asking for a map of the property. Then said, "I guess I will wonder aimlessly around your property until I find the condo. Thanks for you help." Liz then said, "If you want me to tell you where your unit is, I will. But I can't give you anything."
Once I found the unit, it was very nicely decorated and clean...Except for the kitchen. The previous tenants obviously cooked some type of marinara sauce on the stove. It was splattered all over the back slash and wall behind the stove. I ended up just cleaning the wall myself. I know that I did not have maid service while I was there, but paid $200+ for my cleaning fee upon check out.
There is no remote control for the TV in the guest bedroom. I did call Chase 'N Rainbows but they were unable to get a universal remote to work on the TV. What TV does not come with a remote control?
With the time change, the first couple days you feel off. Either the walls are thin or the maids are very loud. Like I said above, I was not entitled to maid service...but obviously the rooms around us were.
Had a wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at the aina Nalu #K101. This is definately the way to stay in Maui. Being in Lahaina, we were not far from many of the sites and attractions on the island. We were walking distance through quiet streets to the shops and resturants, which is great. The condo was extremely clean and the provided pictures do not depict how great the condo is laid out. Having a full kitchen with utinsils was great for cooking. It was also great having a washer and drier, wireless internet, and cable TV in each room. We paid the $15 daily parking fee upon arrival, which was nice because there's parking right outside the back door. The pools of the condo are beautiful and the staff was very friendly and on top of their game. I can't speak highly enough of this facility and our experience. Staying at the aina Nalu really made our trip enjoyable and we had a great time!
