This is one great condo!!! We've stayed at a number of other units in the Hololani and liked this one the most. It is modern and well decorated and the owners clearly care a great deal about the appearance of the unit. Highly recommended!

We loved the stay and the furnishings were great. You can walk to at least three restaurants including the only brewpub on Maui. Large turtles came by every day about 5:00. The pool area and BBQs were clean and nice. Whales could be seen most of the time. Negatives: No beach access due to recent erosion. There was a broken window hinge in one of the bedroom windows allowing lots of whistling wind to come in and hopefully that will be fixed soon.

B701 is a beautiful condo. We rented the unit for 22 days in February 2013 and had a great time. The owners have done a excellent job with decorating and making you feel at home. It had everything we needed, appliances, towels and the BBQ grills by the pool. The management staff does an excellent job at keeping the property clean and in beautiful condition. It is located in a central location and is easy to get to many beaches. The only down side would be the road noise, but, hey, you are in Maui. Thank you for a beautiful place to stay. I hope to come back again.

The Holalani was beautiful and we very much enjoyed our stay. I loved the actual location of where we were relative to accessability but the road noise was a huge problem for us. It was hard to sleep even with the windows closed which was not our preference b/c it was hot. It was very windy which added to the noise. This may have sent us over the top. It is hard when you can't sleep on vacation. :(

My husband and I along with another couple spent 10 days here,this was my second stay here. I love everything about it. They condos are always clean and so are the grounds! Love that I can always get a place by the pool. I will be back!!

My daughter & I were totally blown away with how beautiful our condo was. Beautiful airy rooms with the kind of art I would put in my house. Comfortable beds and good view. We made it our own and loved coming home to it after a day on the beach to get ready for an evening on front street. And Marcia at reception was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

This condo was very nice to stay in with a couple of exceptions. It was far too noisy. The traffic on the street was loud and the garbage trucks came every morning at 8 a.m. and had back up beepers on the whole route. The wind whistled through the unit constantly even with the windows closed.We heard it was an exceptionally windy time of year though. The view was great. We could see turtles and whales from our lanai. It was awesome.

We were thrilled with our stay at Hololani, perfect location, friendly staff, convenient to shopping, esp. the Farmers Market. Our unit afforded privacy to each family, loved the ocean view, wonderful memories!!!

The place was adequate the few problems we had were fixed the same day we reported them. The pool was small but not crowded. The sun however does not get to the pool area till the afternoon. The condo had been remodeled but the coach should be replaced. The coach kind of sinks when you sit in it. Parking place we were assigned was against a wall on one side and small.

Makani Sands cancelled us a week before our planned visit to Maui. Marcia was our "go to" connection and booked us into the perfect room at the last minute.What a relief off our minds. All went so smoothly and we thank you for the best Aloha . Makani did not comp us for anything even though we had reservations for months in advance before they cancelled on us. Boo to them, yay to Hololani.

We've stayed at Hololani before in different units. This unit was nice but needs some upgrades. The kitchen, both baths, the front and back bedroom (with enclosed lanai) were all quite nice. We felt that the living room furniture needs to be upgraded. The couch wasn't comfortable and the chez loung wasted room space. The high-boy dining table was difficult to use (and I'm 6 ft.) as was the high-boy table and chairs on the lanai. The lighting in the living room was horrible. We like to read and play table games and found that the existing lighting was totally inadequate. Only one person could sit on the couch and read by the only adequate lamp. If the owners were to replace the living room furniture and provide adequate lighting this would be a perfect unit.

This 2 bedroom condo was a gorgeous place with an oceanfront, as well as a mountain view. The breezes blew in consistently, keeping the place cool at all times. The pool was a real treat. It was warmed to a perfect temperature. We would stay here in a heartbeat on our second go-round.

we found this condo on VRBO and were VERY pleased. Nice and clean. Quiet and relaxed -- no partiers! The only critique is to have 4 beach chairs avaiable in the condo for our use (something we are used to in other condos). Marcia at front desk went above and beyond.

Everything was great with the exception that the elevator was out in building B once in a while. They said they were doing maintenance. We had been informed that the elevator would be out in building A. We have stayed at Hololani 3 times now and they have been doing some kind of construction all 3.

Very nice condo, reasonably priced. Very close to ocean with great whale and turtle viewing from lanai. Pool is adequate, Gas grills are only other amenity. Small beach, but adjacent to large beach.

Thanks for a great stay in B701. The apartment was huge, beautiful, peaceful and had a great view. Great restaurants within walking distance and Lahaina town is 10 mins down the road. Would recommend to anyone - couples, families or groups of friends. We will definitely be back!!!
