If you are looking for a cozy, close to everything condo Kahana Village will suit all of your needs. The complex is wonderful from the sand beach to the pool, bbq's and cabana. the grounds are immaculate and the staff is very friendly. The Wednesday night Mai tai parties are a great way to get to know your neighbors. We would highly recommend the village and hope to return soon

We thoughly enjoyed our stay at Kahana Village. The accomodations were great for us as our daughter was married on the island and we were looking for a place where we all could stay together until the event, but wouldn't be crowded and this was perfect. It was close to everything we needed, yet far enough away from the busy shopping district to be quiet. We enjoyed the privacy of the beach and were delighted to have the beach chairs and cooler. We were able to enjoy breakfast on the lanai with fresh Kona coffee and were happy to have some of our meals at "home" using the complete kitchen. I would easily recommend this to anyone who wants a home-like oasis while on their vacation.

Vicki, the manager, was most helpful and kind. She was always happy to help us and was very accommodating.
The condo was very comfortable, with wonderful views of the ocean and whales were seen breaching and spouting in the distance.
Highly recommend this location on west Maui, about 1 hour from the airport.
W especially liked the happy hour with food drinks and music for all the occupants on Wednesday, and loved that they have a fresh herb garden to snip from when cooking in or grilling. I would go there again in a heartbeat! Wonderful value! -

A nice quiet beach, nice swimming pool, just a few steps from the front door. The weekly Mai-Tai get together is a real favorite.

Our vacation at Kahana Village, Unit 15 was truly magical. When we entered the front door and saw the incredible ocean view we all gasped with delight. The unit was very clean and spacious and the loft suite gave us total privacy. The balcony was our favorite place to relax and we made friends with some lovely little birds with 'orange hoods' on their heads. We saw the best sunsets from our balcony and since it is located in the middle of the complex the view of the pool, and the islands was perfect. The welcome mai tai party on wednesday night was a perfect way for us to meet some of our neigbors and our management hosts were charming. The location is perfect; only a short drive from our favorite places such as Lahaina, Whalers village, Kaanapali and Napili, where we fell in love with the Sea House restaurant. In Lahaina our favorite restaurant and Sunset bar was Kimos. We also had a superb dinner on the ocean at The Fish house, a few doors down from Kimos. The upstairs bar at Cheesburgers in Paradise is spectacular, although we did not eat there this time.
Very close to the condo is a Macdonalds and in the same plaza next door to the Maui Brewing Company (which we did not enjoy very much) there is a very friendly bar/ restaurant called Black angus steak house..this became our 'local'..sushi is amazingly good, people very friendly and best of all it is within walking distance of the condo.
I would highly recommend the Kahana Village and especially Unit 15 to anyone and I am sure we will return some day for another perfect vacation. -

We had a very nice stay at Kahana village. The units are very large and very well furnished.
The beach is small and a bit rocky. Its still nice to swim though too cloudy for snorkeling. Napili bay is about a 1 minute drive north and has a great beach and snorkeling. Honolua bay is about a 10 min drive north and has amazing snorkeling.
There is a whaler's store that is walking distance and the restaurants in Lahaina are about 15 minutes away.
I would stay here over the over packed resort areas any day

We had a great stay at this unit. We loved the openess of the kitchen, dining room and living area. The kitchen was well equipped and the barbeque area was very accessible. Sitting on the lanai watching the whales jump was incredible. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Mai Tai party was a great feature and we felt the warmness of being in a small community. The only drawback was the outside traffic noise if you were in the master bedroom. We had to keep the widows closed. Kahana Village is a wonderful place for a holiday and we would return again.

Kahana Village was a perfect setting for a vacation! The grounds were kept immaculate, the condo was comfortable, well appointed and very clean. And most of all, the staff were incredible! A special thanks goes to Harmony and Vicki who did a great job of taking care of us from time of booking to time to go home.

The unit was very clean with a modern kitchen. It overlooked the pool and right out to the ocean. We could look for whales and just relax on the balconey. It is as lovely as the pictures look and keep very clean. The office is close and employees very friendly and helpful. If you want to be away from the busy areas, this is the place to go. Easy to get to Lahana and its shops etc. but far enough so you can have peace and quite.

Tampa, FLAwesome Condo with Spectacular Views
Left on 09/22/2011 for a stay in September 2011
My aunt and 8 year old daughter traveled to Maui after our birthdays. Upon arrival we noted our name posted to the board at the office. Checkin was quick/efficient and we promptly moved in. My daughter "called" the upstairs loft immediately. We were impressed with the open feel and view of the pool and ocean from our unit. Spacious condo felt like home, we did not want to leave! All 3 of us remarked about the things we appreciated from the large dining table to the comfy couch and recliner. Top notch accommodations and very clean! Everything we needed was furnished, just had to stop at the convenience store for food on the side street by McDonalds (8yr old was happy there was one near). Shops in that plaza were good for picking up souveniers and we enjoyed ice cream from the parlor as well. Planning to return, will have to save for flights from Eastern Time Zone. We played Monopoly one night - was nice to see board games under the TV and the DVD available for use. Have already referred a few friends.

We have vacationed at Kahana Village several times over the last 20 years and I can best describe it as "home away from home". The condo is warm and comfortable with all of the amenities to make our stay very enjoyable. Vicki, Chris and Harmony go out of their way to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. The location is a short distance from snorkeling, golfing, shopping and Lahaina with its many tourist activities. The grounds are immaculate and beautiful. The pool area is very clean with beautiful poolside furniture and quite relaxing. Several Bbqs are available for use and the Wednesday evening gathering is an added plus. All in all our stay is always a wonderful and relaxing experience.

Left on 08/26/2010 for a stay in August 2010
This was our first time staying at Kahana Village and we had a wonderful time. The village facilities were kept in great shape. The condo was also very pleasant. It had a an upgraded kitchen and master bathroom. The only issue we had was that the first night the bed linens had a bit of a musty smell, but we changed them the next day. The condo had a great view of the sunset every night! We will definitely stay at Kahana Village again!

Excellent value. The condo had a renovated kitchen and bathroom, yet was
priced the same as the "standard" condo. Incredible view of the ocean and
sunset and pool. Upstair bathroom was in pretty rough shape (stains in tub
and the vanity was de-laminating). Kids loved it. Convenient to West Maui
beaches. We would definitely stay again. -

We stayed in unit 15. It had a beautiful ocean and pool view. The unit was clean, nicely updated and had everything we needed. The mattresses in the master bedroom and sofa bed should be replaced.
The resort staff was wonderful and the pride they take in the resort and in customer service was amazing. A minor issue that arose while we were there was dealt with quickly and pleasantly. The grounds are kept up beautifully and really add to the charm of the resort. Kahana Village will definitely be on our minds next time we travel to Maui! -

We had a great time in Hawaii! The condo was beautiful and very comfortable. It was plenty big enough for six adults. The management was great. we arrived very late and had no problems getting into the condo. We plan on going back to Maui in a couple of years to stay longer and will be staying at Kahana Village again. Thank you all for making our stay in Maui the best!

Our family (2 teenagers and 2 adults) have spent a wonderful 10 days at the resort. The resort itself offers a peaceful environment with well kept gardens, propane BBQ,a hot tub and a pool just big enough for parents to feel safe with young kids using it. The setting allows for perfect view of the ocen and wonderful sunsets. Our unit (#15) has an upgrade kitchen with more stuff than I have at home. The main bathroom has also been redone. It definitely shows proud of ownership. The management team is quick to help with any issues with the villa and is very knowledgeable about the activities that can be enjoyed at proximity. We hope to make our visit to Kahana Village Resort an annual family tradition.

My wife and I went here for part of our stay in Maui and it was simply
wonderful. It was minutes from Kaanapali, yet we enjoyed our quiet
times here at the Kahana Village. Our beach was always empty, so we
felt it was our very own private beach. Although it was shallow and at
certain times of the year rich with sea weed, there were still areas to
swim. But when we really wanted to swim we hopped in the car for 3
min. and drove to Kaanapali. Sunsets on our deck were spectacular
and during the winter we saw a few whales. Each unit is fully equipped
and we made delicious meals together. (Big savings as restaurants are
exorbitant here). The pool is great and whirlpool as well. Super clean
always. This property is extremely well maintained and the staff is
super friendly and helpful. As newlyweds they gave us as gift of a free
outing of our choice no matter the price. With a baby on the way, we
are contemplating returning for a baby-moon. -

The staff, by the way, were extremely friendly and helpful.

Left on 05/04/2009 for a stay in April 2008
We are frequent travelers to Hawaii and most often to Maui and most often to Kahana Village and most often unit #15. Sits at the base of the 'U' overlooking the pool and beyond (not far) the ocean and beyond to the islands. Kick butt sunsets. Sit on the lanai for breakfast and sometimes star lit nights for dinner. Ambiance of Kahana Village is home away from home in paradise. Last time to Maui stayed at a different property simply becuase we thought it would be nice to have some change and it almost spoiled the trip not going 'home' to Kahana Village.
