If you're looking for a great view and location, this is the spot. The condo is spacious but needs lots of updating. The walls need paint, light switches and overhead fan switches need replacing, some bulbs were burned out, kitchen drawers were dirty, window coverings were broken, beadspreads need washing,etc. If you are used to a 5 star hotel, this isn't for you. But, if you can put up with the above things I mentioned, then go for it if the price is right. One thing to mention is the location of the unit is great and there's lots of light and it's very convenient to shopping and eating. I would give this property a 3 star.

Our sincere apologies that the property wasn’t in tip top shape for your arrival. We have had the interior painted, replaced light & fan switches and the bedspreads. The owners have meet with their cleaner and discussed your review to make sure she doesn’t allow this to happen again.
Our management company normally catches these problems in advance as we have a pre checkin service that double checks before each arrival, she leaves guest comments cards and contact information for repair and maintenance concerns and our office calls the day after a guest’s arrival to make sure all is well. In checking our logs I don’t see any reports or calls made during your stay.
We thank you for your comments and suggestions for improvements and look forward to being of service in the future.

My family has been spending the holiday season in Maui since 1994. We initially spent the first 10 seasons at the south end of Maui until we discovered Maui Eldorado, Unit H202 in 2005. Now, our time in Maui would not be the same unless we stayed at H202.
The setting of H202 is the best you could hope for. You wake up to the most spectacular view of the ocean overlooking the golf course. It is the perfect catalyst for starting a day in paradise. The choices are tough; do we go to the beach (a short 10 minute walk) , go golfing, or just enjoy Maui Eldorado and relax on the expansive wrap around deck, or at the pool. Difficult choices, but that is why we love this unit so much. Stress of your real life seems to disappears once you enter the door of this unit upon arrival to Maui.
The location of this unit is another key feature. Beach access is just out front of the unit or a short drive to the north provides you with the most amazing snorkeling and body surfing beaches on the island. As for shopping; again, just a short walk to Whalers Village or a 5 minute drive to Lahaina.
All I can say is, we are planning to go back next year and the years after.

We love our annual time on Maui (Kaanapali) in Eldorado H-202! We have been enjoying the condo for the past 10 years and have shared time there with family and friends as well as relaxing by ourselves. It is a close walk to one of the best beaches on Maui and a short drive to other beaches...we love to snorkle and read in the sun. We also enjoy tennis and golf and both are right there. There is a great walkway taking you north or south to the hotels, restaurants and Whalers Village shopping center...all along the beach. We have explored the other Hawaiian Islands; but for us this is the best. The Condo itself is always clean and feels like "home". It has a king size bed in the master BR, a spacious master bath, a well stocked kitchen and a guest bedroom (with twin beds and a double hideabed) and bath with tub and shower. There is a BBQ which we use often for meals and a wonderful large deck with a view of the golf course, beach, and ocean. We spend much of our time on this wonderful covered outside room watching the golfers, boats going by, etc.

I have stayed here many times, and each time I thought it couldn't get any better, it would. I would highly recommend it for many reasons, the cleanliness, the view, the space is beautiful and thoroughly accommodating, close to the ocean and the best snorkeling on Maui, walking distance to delicious restaurants and local shopping. This place has all of the amenities you would want and also a ton of privacy. You can chose to partake in the adventures surrounding or just relax on the calming lanai, which overlooks the ocean. A truly romantic getaway or fulfilling family vacation. Thank you for sharing a piece of paradise!!!

Absolutely perfect. We flew out the day after our wedding and spent 11 peaceful days in H202. Thanks to the kitchen, we had breakfasts, lunches, and many dinners on the Lanai - not only saving money, but enjoying beautiful sunsets looking at the ocean across the golf course. No restaurant could possibly provide a better atmosphere.
The condo provides easy access to superb snorkeling at Black Rock. Short walks provide access to the South side of Black Rock with its world-class snorkeling, and also to the quiet, much more private North side of Black Rock. We spent most of our time reading in the private Cabana or swimming out in front of it, utilizing the refrigerator and kitchenette to pack cold drinks and lunches.
The size of H202 would be perfect for a family, and as soon as we have kids that are old enough to vacation, we'll be returning there. -

We really enjoyed our stay at Maui Eldorado 202 in the end of September. When we walked in, it was just like walking into Grandma's house. The little things, that make the deco very homey, were everywhere. Can't believe they actually left everything out. Loved the little ornaments and the book shelves, etc. The view from our balcony was beautiful - the golf course and the towering condos and the ocean, was a great contrast. We were so impressed with the cleanliness of the grounds - hats off to the gardeners. Thank you also to the cnceirge boys that drove my husband, with the bad knees, back and forth to the Cabana. I really enjoyed the walk to the beach myself. The Cabana is a real asset to your development. Spent many hours there - with our own lunches, etc.
The unit was very clean - a little dated however - but very comfortable. The bed was awesome - best sleeps there. The only complaint that we did have, was the construction that was going on in one of the units below us. Twice we had no hot water due to some plumbing issues. But the staff were very apologenic. The noise, from the construction, was also an issue. The pool was quiet, clean and an excellent place to read our favorite novels. We would definitely recommend this unit to anyone, that enjoys the simple comforts and atmosphere of home.
We loved being close to Laihaine and the beautiful Island of Maui itself. Hope we can return soon.
