Our family spent two wonderful weeks at The Whaler and I have not stopped recommending it to all my friends! The location could not be better. Great beach, within walking distance to Black Rock (awesome snorkeling), surfing and dining. The unit itself was clean and spacious for us and our 2 children. So close to the beach we could just run up and make lunch when we wanted. The only complaint would be this unit backs up to the elevator, so you do have some elevator noise, but we were not bothered with all the other great aspects overshadowing that. Did I mention the view? Fantastic! Would love to stay again!

The Whaler is our favorite place to stay. Right next to Whaler's Village. Close walk to Black Rock for snorkeling. Beautiful courtyard with pool and two areas for grilling at Whaler. Many nice places for Happy Hours and really good places for dining all within a short walk on sidewalk along beach in either direction from Whaler. Don't golf, but absolutely beautiful golf course on the side of Whaler opposite the beach. Whaler is beachfront property, so it's so nice to be able to just walk out of condo and be just a few steps away from sitting on the beach and enjoying some sunshine and watching the whales Jan. - Mar.. We stayed a little more than a week in unit #470, which was ok with nice view from lanai looking over courtyard and beach view, but needed some minor repairs and updating. Stayed a few days the week before in unit #312 and it was much nicer.

We had an outstanding visit to Maui. We enjoyed the condo immensely. The location is ideal. It was spacious and clean. It had more than we expected with the large lanai, waher and dryer, and boogie boards. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely (hopefully!) return!
