The home was located in a quiet and secluded neighborhood close to shopping, beach, dining and attractions. It was well supplied, clean and beyond expectations as far as amenities. The agent (Jessica Scotcher) who helped us book this location was very cheerful, helpful, knowledgeable (well beyond the norm) and available. The home was easy to find and access from the highway. The location, standard and facilities of Sunset Vista were First Class. The opportunity to arrange a private chef for a special dinner was the icing on the cake. A typical day started with pineapple and papaya from the local market, followed by a walk around the streets admiring the beautiful gardens and homes. Lunch by the pool and a dip then necessitated an afternoon nap on the day-lounges on the porch, waking just in time for drinks while watching the fabulous sunsets. If we didn\'t cook dinner in the fully-equipped kitchen or on the bbq, a short drive to Front Street provided an enormous choice of restaurants and bars. - Natalie T., , Australia

Sunset vista was absolutely perfect for our honeymoon stay in Maui. Located in the most beautiful area with amazing views of the ocean and the mountains too. The facilities were perfect all round and the villa had absolutely everything we could need. The villa was easy to find and not far from shopping and beaches if you don\'t mind a short drive. We wanted our honeymoon to be stress free and luxurious and it was! Thank you! The Villa was true to the photographs, and very high end. Everything was thought of (from pool toys to beach towels) which made life easy for us. The fixtures and fittings in the Villa were exceptional (flatscreen TVs, hi speed internet, well equipped kitchen and grill!) which made it a very home from home experience\". We loved staying at Sunset Vista. The view was incredible and the pool area totally amazing. It was the perfect size for our small family with very nice high end appliances. The landscaping was so beautiful and very well kept. It was great having the laundry downstairs, but a laundry basket would make things a bit easier. The only thing I can think of to improve is the shower head in the master. One with a little higher water pressure would make rinsing hair a little less time consuming. My husband and I very much enjoyed Sunset Vista. The villa was very well maintained, had wonderful views from the front deck and was laid out in a way to not make the 1,000 square feet feel small. The only reason we may not book Sunset Vista in the future is we would prefer the pool to have ocean view. Other than that, Sunset Vista is a wonderful villa for the price and very conveniently located near Lahaina, Kaanapali and Kapalua. - Vickie M., Ontario, Canada

Overall, we had a great vacation in Maui. Upon arrival, Tim Ellis was very welcoming and helpful when we met him at the villa. We enjoyed staying at a private residence instead of a resort. Although the resorts are very nice in Maui, there are simply too many people. Staying at Sunset Vista allowed us to relax, and have a great time without having to deal with people everywhere. The cottage was better than described. Tim was waiting four us with the key when we arrived. He, like everyone with Luxury Retreats, was friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. The location was great and we loved looking out the windows at the ocean and gazing at the mountains from our pool. We will certainly be back .

We had a great time and enjoyed the house and its views. It was perfect for two people or two couples. The view front and back was breath taking. For the most part, the house was every thing that was expected except for a few minor details. It was centered great for location to all the things Mauii had to offer.

First of all, I want to thank the staff at Luxury Retreats, especially Patrick, Marianne and Tim, for the best vacation experience my husband, Clark and I ever had! The villa we rented in Maui, Sunset Vista, by far exceeded our expectations. Not only was it close to everything we wanted to do, but it was nice having all the comforts of home, not to mention the pool and hot tub! Waking up to that panoramic ocean view was pretty incredible, too!! In addition, the prompt and courteous service we received from Patrick, Marianne and Tim was much appreciated. In fact, due to the incredible service and amenities, my husband and I can\'t imagine ever staying at a hotel in Maui again! We will definitely be in touch within the next year to plan Clark\'s 40th birthday trip!! \r\n\r\nThanks again to Luxury Retreats for the best vacation EVER!!! We have already been recommending LR to our friends!!\r

Between the porch, house and the back yard I hated to leave the villa for activities. Lucille and Tim were the perfect ambassadors for L.R. We felt pampered and very well taken care of. Hotels seem much less appealing after our villa experience.\r\n\r\n

It was the best family vacation we have ever had. We loved all the room the villa offered including the pool and spa. The villa was beautifully appointed and was very comfortable for the four of us. The views were mezmerizing and activites were just a short drive away. Lahaina offered so many wonderful restaraunts and excersions. The concierge service was also excellent. Whale watching, surfing, fine restaraunts, and a trip to Pearl Harbor were all coordinated perfectly for us. We are already booking for next year.

To celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary, my husband and I booked a trip to Maui, our favorite place to vacation. In the past we have stayed in resorts, but wanted to do something different and rented Sunset Vista through Luxury Retreats. The villa was amazing and by far exceeded our expections! It was nice having all the comforts of home and waking up to the most incredible panoramic ocean views. Having our own pool and hot tub were pretty great, too! However, we were most impressed with the the promptness, knowledge and professionalism of the staff at Luxury Retreats, specifically Patrick, Marianne and Tim. In fact, Tim Dvr'd the Super Bowl for us since were in-flight during the game! Now that we have been spoiled by Luxury Retreats, we can't imagine staying at hotel/resort in Maui ever again!
