Built in 1938, the Cottage is one of a dwindling number of charming, vintage Lake Arrowhead cabins which are difficult to find. The Cottage contains gorgeous knotty pine paneling throughout, hardwood floors with beautiful oriental rugs and soaring vaulted ceilings. Easy proximity to the main highway, flat lots and a “small town†feel all make this part of the Lake Arrowhead area unique; and access to the lake is only a few short blocks away. This listing is accurately described and the owner is helpful with any questions that you have. When we were at the cottage, we spent most of the time eating and sitting outside on the gorgeous and roomy deck among trees and birds. Everything is clean; the rooms are small but adequate and the MB bed was very comfortable. We happened to get a hot weekend (90) so upstairs was a bit warm where our 7-year old grandson slept. We drove down to the path entrance due to the altitude and since it was a gradual climb coming back. The path is very nice in either direction from #9 entrance. We also took the tour boat "Queen" and then went to Lake Gregory where we went on paddle boats. We do not recommend Woody's restaurant. We just decided we'd bbq the other 2 nights and enjoyed the deck outside. Only caution note would be that the stairs might be too much for toddlers and elderly.

This cottage is by far the most beautiful place i've ever stayed at. Thanks Greg for the wonderful experience! I will definitely refer this place to anyone staying at Lake arrowhead.
