The Emerald Bay Lake House is a historic vintage charmer. Originally named the Chartreuse Chalet, this special cabin was built in 1948 and was featured in the Real Estate section of the Los Angeles Times in 1952.
Main Level: The Lake House is located close to the Marina and is a short walk down the steps to Emerald Bay. The Lake House has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The main level has a great room that includes a huge stacked rock fireplace, living area and dining area. The completely remodeled kitchen is located on the main level next to the dining area. There is a powder bath and bedroom with a bunk bed on the main level.

Wow, what an amazing experience for me and my family! From the moment we booked the reservation I knew we had made the right choice. My husband and I typically spend our winter vacation in Big Bear however, this year we felt like a change and decided on Lake arrowhead in the Spring. Neither one of us had ever been so the search began via the internet. Soon after we came across Mountain Retreat Vacation Rentals and immediately I was drawn to the photos of their rentals. With so many properties to choose from, each with its own detailed description and abundance of photos, we decided on the Emerald Bay Lake House for its charm, location and amenities. We were 3 adults and 4 kids and we loved the house. It was beautifully decorated, super clean and cozy. Loved the upgraded kitchen and the shuffleboard table was a special treat for the kids! It had everything we could ask for! And, because of the "local info" tab on the website we were able to go out for great food and experience two amazing hikes. Truly fantastic. Thank you Judy and Grant. We can't wait to go back and will absolutely refer you to all our friends. Christina & Daniel

First time visiting the Lake arrowhead and staying at the Emerald Bay Lake House made us a wonderful getaway experience. I love the house when I first walked in the door. The living & dining rooms are beautiful with a charming fireplace. There was a bottle of wine waiting for us right on the kitchen counter. The kitchen is nicely remodeled with cute little breakfast nook on the side. The bedroom are nice and clean. Master bedroom is cozy with a portable fireplace. This vacation house is trully entertaining. We love the shuffle board table best that we enjoyed playing it all the time. There is a pingpong table in the garage. On the shelve at the living room, you can find different game boards which are perfect for family gathering. If you are done playing all the games, you can relax reading some books and magazines or watching movies from Netflix which is absolutely free. Wifi is also available at no cost. The location is so convenient as it closed by the lake, Arrowhead village, grocery store and restaurants. Thanks to arrowhead Retreats management! We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming again.

We had a wonderful experience at the Emerald Bay Lake House. This property has an excellent rustic cabin feel. Everything was clean and in pristine condition. This is a great location, close to arrowhead Village and views of the lake from the kitchen. One of the biggest highlights from our Father/Son weekend in arrowhead was playing countless games of shuffleboard and throwing darts at the Emerald Bay Lake House. We enjoyed our stay and would like to thank Mountain Retreat Vacation Rentals for making our weekend a memorable one.

We loved it! Very cozy and a great open floor plan. It was clean and dust free; just how I like it. Recently upgraded and the beds had down comforters to keep you snugly warm in the winter. Hope to go back again. The front door has keyless entry, which is very convenient.
