me and my wife and father stayed at jacks cottage for a week at the end of september. everything was perfect, just as advertised, and more. jack and his houskeeper cathy were extremely welcoming and helpful. it was getting a bit rainy towards the end, but you just can't beat those views.. lake is beautiful in any kind of weather. and we even managed to sneak in a kayak ride.. very recommended!!

We had an excellent stay and hope to do it again next year. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. The bedroom and bathrooms are clean and tidy. The back porch is great for hanging out on or you can sit out on the lawn in front of the lake. There is lake access, a BBQ, a deck with outdoor furniture, easy parking and the home is relaxed and inviting, what more could you ask for.

The house is spacious and nicely decorated. We swam and used the kayaks, and spent a lot of time on the deck to take advantage of the breeze off the water. The sunsets were spectacular, and we could see fireworks across the lake!

I would definetely recommend. We stayed in april and the weather was not the best and my family still had a great time. Very nice relaxing getaway! The view is beautiful!

We are repeat customers who have stayed at this home at various times of the year. Our favorite time is in the summer to out by the water. And, we also enjoy skiing and have stayed in the winter as well.
The home is set back from the road and feels very secluded. The views of the lake are majestic - especially at sunset...ahhh...
The home is very comfortable and layed out well. It is a perfect place to entertain or just to relax.
We look forward to our next stay at Maquam shores. :) -

This is a fully furnished home lacking absolutely nothing - just show up with a bag of groceries and a bathing suit. The views are stunning - merely feet from the Lake - with a beautiful outside patio or indoor porch to further take in the vista.

Spent 2 weeks on the Lake, and loved every minute. House is very comfortable and well equipped with everything you need. Sunsets over the Lake were extraordinary every night.

This home offers spectacular fishing, sunbathing, waterskiing, windsurfing, kayaking, relaxation...do I really need to continue? Just awesome. Can't wait to go back.
